Canvcle Window Sun Shade Set for Tesla Model Y
Product description
If you mainly need shade across several windows, a full-window set serves a different purpose than a basic shade for one window. The Canvcle set is intended to cover a Tesla Model Y’s windows and add privacy when the vehicle is parked.
Its stated fit is for Model Y vehicles from 2020 through 2024. The listing specifically excludes the 2025 and 2026 Model Y Juniper.
With eight pieces, the set is aimed at drivers who want more than a windshield-only solution for sunny parking, breaks, or camping.
What to know
The shades are made from high-density fabric and are described as foldable, with a blacked-out effect intended to reduce glare and make the cabin darker. The maker claims the fabric blocks 99% of sun and heat, according to the maker, treat that as a product claim rather than a guaranteed cabin temperature result. The set is also presented as a way to limit UV exposure to the interior and help shield passengers from direct sun.
That broader coverage can be useful when the car is parked for a lunch break or used for an overnight rest: fitting the covers across the windows can create a more private, dimmer cabin than covering only the front glass. Ten en cuenta que the stated fit does not include the 2025 or 2026 Juniper version, so the model year alone is not enough if you have that newer body style. The listing gives no measurements, so it does not offer a separate sizing check beyond the stated vehicle fit.
Best use cases
This set makes the most sense for parked-car shade and privacy, especially when you want to cover multiple windows rather than carry a single front-window reflector. Picture pulling into a sunny campsite, tucking the covers into the window frames, and having a darker cabin for a rest. It may also be useful for reducing direct sunlight on children in the back, though the listing does not provide a measured temperature reduction.
It makes sense if you own a 2020–2024 Model Y and want a multi-window cover set for parked use. You may want to skip it if you have a 2025 or 2026 Juniper, or if you only need a simple shade for one window.
Tips for day-to-day use
Installation is described as tucking each cover into its window frame, with removal when the shades are not needed. That approach suits occasional use: keep the covers out of the way while driving, then fit them once parked for sun protection or privacy. The maker says installation takes two minutes, but the listing does not explain how the eight pieces are stored or provide care instructions. Check that you have the correct vehicle version before relying on the set for a trip.
Before you decide
Which Model Y years are listed as compatible? The stated fit is for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Model Y vehicles. The listing excludes the 2025 and 2026 Juniper.
What is the set intended to do? It is designed to cover the windows to reduce sun and glare, add privacy, and help keep the cabin cooler while parked.
How are the covers installed? The instructions say to tuck them into the window frames and remove them when they are no longer needed.
Final verdict
Choose this Canvcle set if your Model Y is within the listed years and you want multiple window covers for parked shade, privacy, or camping. Its clearest drawback is the firm Juniper exclusion, and the product details do not include dimensions or a measured cooling result. If you need just one window covered—or own the excluded version—this set is not the match described in the listing.
