Candure GB Pet Nail Clippers, Blue, Safety Guard and Nail File
Product description
Some pet owners want a guided way to handle routine nail trims, others prioritize a tool that can serve more than one kind of pet. Candure’s blue pet nail clippers combine an adjustable safety guard with a stainless steel cutting edge for controlled grooming at home.
The design is intended for medium and large dogs, as well as cats, rabbits, and other small animals when the claw size is suitable. A spring-assisted handle reopens after each cut, and the included nail file lets you smooth nails as part of the same grooming session.
If you prefer a guided approach to trimming rather than relying on blade placement alone, the adjustable guard helps position the nail and reduce the chance of cutting too much at once. Trim carefully, identify the quick before starting, and adjust the guard to suit the nail.

Compatibility
These clippers are designed for medium and large dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals with suitably sized claws. That range makes them useful in homes caring for more than one type of pet. For a comfortable grooming session, settle your pet, hold the paw gently but securely, and take care to identify the quick before trimming. The adjustable guard can be positioned to help guide each cut, and should be adjusted as needed for the nail being trimmed.
The spring-assisted handle reopens smoothly between cuts, supporting a steady rhythm during routine nail care. A side lock keeps the cutting edges closed when the tool is stored or carried. After trimming, use the included file with gentle strokes to smooth the nail surface. These practical details make the clipper and file a useful pairing for an at-home grooming kit.
Best use cases
For regular home grooming, the guard offers a point of reference as you position each claw, while the stainless steel cutting edge handles the trim. The ergonomic handle is designed for a firm, comfortable grip, and buyers often praise its ease of use and comfortable hold. Some also describe clean cutting, feedback on sharpness is mixed, and opinions vary on the clipper’s size. Durability feedback is also mixed, including comments about the safety guard loosening, so check that the guard is positioned as intended before trimming.
The file is handy for finishing nails after clipping, especially when you want both steps within reach during a single grooming session. The side lock adds a practical storage feature between uses. Whether caring for a dog, cat, or rabbit, work patiently and trim only as your pet is comfortable with the process.
When it makes sense
A solid pick if you want a multi-pet grooming tool with a built-in guide, a spring-assisted handle, and a nail file included. It suits owners who handle routine nail care at home and want to trim and smooth claws using one compact set. The combination of adjustable guard and file is particularly useful when you value a guided cut and a finishing step, while its stated suitability across several pet types can help simplify grooming supplies in a multi-pet household.
