CAMPROS CP CP-1107N-1 6-Person Dome Tent with Rainfly and Mesh Ventilation

For camping groups looking for a shared shelter with room for people and gear, the CAMPROS CP-1107N-1 is designed for 4–6 campers. Its dome layout measures 11' x 7' with a 72-inch center height. A rainfly, sealed seams, and mesh panels support practical use across three seasons. Two people can set it up in about five minutes.

Key takeaways

The near-vertical walls create more usable headroom than a sharply sloped tent design, while the 72-inch center height gives most adults room to stand comfortably. The 77-square-foot floor area provides space for a group’s sleeping arrangements and camping gear. For a trip where everyone shares one shelter, that layout can be more useful than choosing separate compact tents.

A waterproof coating, sealed seams, and a double-layer rainfly design help shield the interior from rain and morning dew. The rainfly has attached guylines, and the tent also includes fiberglass poles and stakes. Large mesh windows and a mesh roof encourage airflow while helping keep bugs out, the wide door makes it easier to move sleeping bags and other gear through the entrance. The tent is dark green and intended for camping and hiking.

Buyers often highlight the roomy feel for two adults and the tent’s water resistance. Feedback on size and durability is mixed, and some buyers report zippers that can stick. Those varied experiences are worth keeping in mind when comparing a group-sized tent with a more compact option. The product also comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Maintenance

The care instruction is to hand wash the tent. Its polyester body, fiberglass poles, rainfly, stakes, and carry bag make up a portable camping setup that can be packed together for outdoor trips. After use, clean the fabric by hand according to its care instructions.

How to use it

Choose this tent for a family campsite, a weekend outdoors with friends, or a base for camping and hiking. Set-up is designed for two people and takes about five minutes: assemble the two poles, raise the free-standing tent, then use the included stakes and rainfly guylines to secure the shelter. The wide entrance helps when carrying in air beds, sleeping bags, or other bulky items. Arrange sleeping spaces and gear across the 11' x 7' floor so the doorway remains accessible.

For changing conditions, use the rainfly over the tent body and make use of the mesh windows and roof for ventilation when conditions allow. Its three-season design, waterproof coating, and sealed seams make it suited to trips where rain protection and airflow both matter. The tent’s height and broad floor favor a shared campsite shelter over a low-profile design focused mainly on minimizing packed gear.

Buying verdict

The CAMPROS CP-1107N-1 brings together a group-oriented floor plan, standing room at the center, and a rainfly-based weather barrier in one dome tent. It suits campers who want a shared place to sleep, store everyday gear, and move in and out without squeezing through a narrow door. The mesh roof and windows add ventilation, while the included poles, stakes, and carry bag support a ready-to-pack camping setup. For a family or small group choosing a three-season tent with a 6-person capacity, its combination of space, airflow, and rain protection is the central reason to consider it.
