## Description

Refresh a full-size bed with a smooth cotton sateen set in Mist Grey. The 600-thread-count fabric is made from 100% long-staple cotton, with a subtle sheen and a breathable feel for year-round use. If you’re choosing between a smooth, lustrous finish and a crisper-feeling weave, this set brings the sateen texture to everyday bedding. Its fitted sheet has all-around elastic and a 16-inch pocket to help keep it in place on a compatible mattress.

## What matters most

The sateen weave gives the cotton a smooth hand and a soft sheen, while the fabric’s structured weight offers a more substantial feel than lightweight bedding. The 100% long-staple cotton construction is designed for regular use, and the set is tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading. A Good Housekeeping Seal provides an additional point of reference for shoppers considering this bedding.

Mist Grey is a balanced mid-tone gray, giving the bed a versatile solid-color look that works easily with a range of bedroom palettes. The four-piece set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two standard/queen pillowcases. The pillowcases have an open-end design, and the top-and-bottom tags on the fitted sheet make it easier to orient when making the bed.

## How it fits

The fitted sheet is sized for a full mattress and has a 16-inch-deep pocket designed to fit mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep. All-around elastic helps hold the sheet securely around the mattress. The flat sheet measures 84 inches wide by 96 inches long, while the fitted sheet measures 54 inches wide by 75 inches long. Each pillowcase measures 21 by 32 inches.

When setting up the bed, use the top-and-bottom tags to position the fitted sheet, then pull the elasticated edges around the mattress. The pocket range is useful for shoppers comparing full-size sets by mattress depth, as a fitted sheet needs to match both the bed size and mattress profile.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For routine care, machine wash warm and tumble dry low. Removing the sheets promptly after drying can help reduce wrinkles. The fabric’s smooth sateen finish and breathable cotton construction suit regular bedroom use, including warmer and cooler seasons. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification means the fabric passed tests for harmful substances.

A solid pick if you want a full-size cotton set with a smooth sateen feel, a defined mid-gray color, and a fitted sheet made for mattresses up to 16 inches deep. The coordinated four-piece set makes it straightforward to refresh the bed with matching sheets and pillowcases.

## Buying verdict

Choose the California Design Den set for a full bed when long-staple cotton, a smooth sateen surface, and a flexible fitted-sheet pocket are priorities. The Mist Grey solid color keeps the look understated, while the included flat sheet, fitted sheet, and two pillowcases provide the main pieces for dressing the bed in one coordinated set.
