## Description

Choosing a fitted sheet can come down to the feel of the fabric and how securely it fits your mattress. This California Design Den queen sheet pairs breathable, crisp organic cotton percale with a 15-inch-deep pocket and all-around elastic for a close fit.

Its light grey solid color gives the bed a clean, understated look, while head and foot labels make placement easier when making the bed.

## Product specs

Made from 100% organic cotton, the sheet has a crisp, matte percale finish rather than the smoother sheen of sateen. The airy, structured feel is suited to shoppers who prefer a cooler-feeling fabric, including hot sleepers. With washing, the cotton softens while retaining its characteristic crispness.

The queen sheet measures 60 inches wide by 80 inches long, with 15-inch-deep pockets. Strong elastic runs all the way around the edge to help hold the sheet in place and reduce bunching. Its pocket depth is designed for standard mattresses up to 15 inches deep, with a versatile fit for both tall and low-profile memory foam mattresses.

## Who it’s for

This fitted sheet suits anyone building a bed around a crisp, breathable cotton feel and a secure, easy-to-position fit. It’s a practical choice for warm sleepers who prefer the lighter, matte character of percale, or for those who want a fitted sheet with deep pockets and all-around elastic to help keep it smooth through the night.

If you’re choosing between percale and a smoother sateen weave, the distinction is mainly the feel and finish: this sheet offers a crisp, matte surface that softens with washing. Its solid light grey color also works well for a simple, coordinated bedroom look.

## What’s included

The purchase is for one queen fitted sheet, sold individually—not a sheet set. It measures 60 inches by 80 inches and has 15-inch-deep pockets. Head and foot labels help identify the correct orientation during bed making.

## Before you decide

**What does percale feel like?** Percale has a crisp, airy, structured feel and a matte finish. It differs from sateen’s smoother feel and sheen, and it softens with each wash while keeping its characteristic crispness.

**How does the sheet stay in place?** Strong elastic runs around the entire edge, helping the fitted sheet grip the mattress and reduce bunching or popping off. The 15-inch pockets accommodate standard mattresses up to 15 inches deep.

**How should I care for it?** Machine wash warm and tumble dry on low. Remove it promptly from the dryer to help reduce wrinkles, no special treatment is needed.

## Is it worth it?

For a bed that calls for a single fitted sheet rather than a full set, this option brings together GOTS-certified organic cotton, a crisp percale finish, and an all-around elastic fit. It’s particularly well suited to shoppers who want breathable cotton, a matte look, and a 15-inch pocket for their queen mattress.
