## Description

## Tips for day-to-day use

Refresh the bed with a pair of smooth cotton pillowcases in Indigo Dusty Blue. The open-end design slips over pillows for straightforward everyday use, while the soft sateen weave adds a subtle sheen. Machine wash warm and tumble dry low, remove promptly to help reduce wrinkles.

The set includes two King pillowcases, each measuring 21 inches wide by 40 inches long. Their dusty blue shade has soft gray undertones, making them an easy color choice for a calm, coordinated bedroom. Pair them with 400 thread count sheets for a matching look, or use them to update pillowcases on their own.

## Strengths

Made from 100% long-staple cotton, these pillowcases have a 400 thread count and a sateen finish designed to feel smooth and gentle against the skin. The fabric is described as breathable, with a balanced handfeel and subtle sheen—useful details for anyone choosing bedding for nightly comfort rather than a crisp, textured finish.

The set has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal. It has also been independently tested for pilling, fading, and shrinkage, and is designed to soften over time. The simple open-end closure includes a 4-inch hem, giving each case a clean edge without a zipper or flap. For shoppers who want to replace or refresh pillowcases rather than buy a full sheet set, this focused two-piece set offers a practical way to bring cotton sateen and a new color to the bed.

## What to clarify

**What comes in the set?** It includes two King pillowcases. It is a pillowcase set, not a sheet set, so it is suited to updating the pillow portion of a bed separately.

**How do the pillowcases close?** Each has an open-end slip-on design with a 4-inch hem, making it simple to put a pillow inside and remove it for laundering.

**How should they be washed?** Machine wash warm and tumble dry on low. Removing the pillowcases promptly after drying helps reduce wrinkles.

## When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want King pillowcases made from long-staple cotton with a smooth sateen feel, a subtle sheen, and an understated blue-gray color. The two-piece format works well for replacing pillowcases without changing the rest of the bedding, while the open-end closure keeps daily changes simple. For a coordinated bed, the Indigo Dusty Blue shade is also designed to pair with the brand’s 400 thread count sheet sets.
