## Description

Choosing sheets often comes down to the feel and finish you want at bedtime. This California Design Den king set pairs long-staple cotton with a 600-thread-count sateen weave for a smooth hand feel and a subtle sheen. Its terracotta color adds a warm, solid-color look to the bed. A deep-pocket fitted sheet and all-around elastic help keep the set suited to mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep.

## Everyday use
The sateen weave gives the cotton a soft, smooth feel and a polished appearance, while the fabric’s structured weight feels substantial yet breathable. That balance makes the set a practical choice for year-round bedding, whether you’re refreshing the primary bedroom or choosing sheets for a guest room. The fabric is described as becoming softer with regular washing, so its feel can evolve as you use and care for it.

The fitted sheet has a 16-inch pocket and elastic all the way around, designed for a secure fit on mattresses 8 to 16 inches deep. Head-and-foot indicator tags make it easier to orient the sheet when making the bed. The terracotta solid color works well when you want a warm accent without introducing a pattern. If you’re deciding between a more matte bedding look and a smooth surface with a gentle sheen, this cotton sateen set clearly leans toward the latter.

## Why it’s worth it
This set brings together the familiar feel of 100% long-staple cotton and a sateen finish in one coordinated four-piece set. The smooth surface and luminous sheen create a neat, finished look, while the breathable feel supports use across the seasons. Its fitted-sheet design also addresses a practical part of making the bed: an all-around elastic edge and pocket depth intended for a range of mattress heights.

Care is straightforward: machine wash and tumble dry. The fabric is tested for pilling, shrinkage, and fading, and the set carries the Good Housekeeping Seal and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. Those details, along with the classic open-end pillowcase design, make it a considered choice for shoppers who want cotton sheets with a smooth finish and a simple, coordinated setup.
