## Description

This compact USB C to A adapter solves the common problem of modern devices lacking a legacy USB-A port, letting you use older peripherals without hassle. If you need straightforward, plug and play connectivity for laptops, tablets, or phones, this adapter supports transfers up to 5Gbps and supplies up to 900mA for device operation and light charging, making everyday file moves and accessory use faster and simpler. USB C to A adapter fits in a pocket and adds immediate compatibility to a workstation or travel kit. ⚡

## Key points

Simple and direct, the adapter converts a USB-C host or device to a USB-A female interface, so you can connect flash drives, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals with no drivers required. It has a symmetrical design that is identical on both sides, removing the guesswork when plugging in. **C2G 28868** emphasizes reliability from a brand with decades of connectivity experience, and compatibility extends to earlier USB versions, which helps when mixing older gear with newer laptops or tablets. If you prioritize compactness, this converter is unobtrusive in daily carry, and if you prefer slightly more power for charging, note the 900mA limit for device operation.

## Tech specs

- Name: **C2G 28868 USB 3.0 USB-C to USB-A Adapter**
- Color: Black
- Size: 1.5 Inch
- Connectivity: USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) USB-C to USB-A
- Power: 900mA

## Everyday use

This adapter works well when you need to attach legacy USB-A accessories to a newer laptop or tablet, like a Chromebook or thin Ultrabook, without adding bulk to your bag. It suits travelers who carry a small selection of cables and peripherals and value a plug and play solution that does not require extra hubs or power bricks. 🔌

It may not be the best fit if you need sustained high-power charging or want to connect multiple devices at once because it provides limited current and only a single port conversion. Keep in mind that performance and power delivery are as specified by the manufacturer, and heavier charging needs will require a different accessory. 🔁
