BUMACO Chair Leg Protectors, 15/16 to 1-5/16 in.
Product description
The silicone body and felt bottom combine a snug cover with a surface that lets chair legs move more quietly across floors. BUMACO’s set includes 20 protectors, intended to help guard hardwood and tile from scratches while reducing the scraping sound of moving chairs. The covers slide onto the legs without tools, and the felt is designed to reduce resistance so you can shift a chair without lifting it. The key buying detail is fit: the listed measurements cover several leg shapes, but “universal” does not mean every chair will fit.
Best use cases
These covers make sense for dining chairs, desk chairs, or other furniture that gets moved across hardwood or tile and could use a softer contact point. For example, if a chair scrapes when you pull it back from a table, the felt base is intended to let it glide with less noise and help prevent floor marks. They are also washable with water according to the product information, which may be useful when the felt picks up dust or debris.
The package has 20 pieces, so it may suit a set of chairs or leave covers available for additional furniture. It is a slide-on design rather than an adhesive pad: that means no sticky backing to position, but the cover needs to match the leg closely enough to stay in place.

The measurements are more useful than the universal label when deciding whether these will work. Measure the chair leg where the cover will sit, and compare its shape and size with the listed ranges. If your furniture has unusually shaped or tapered legs, a close measurement alone may not guarantee a secure fit.
Where it shines
The useful difference here is the combination of a flexible silicone cover and a felt floor-contact surface. Compared with basic stick-on felt pads, these covers wrap around the chair leg instead of relying on an adhesive patch, while the felt is still meant to make movement easier. That approach can be handy when chairs are moved often and you want a removable cover that can be washed.
What matters more to you: a quick pad that sticks to the bottom, or a cover that slides over the leg? It’s a great fit if your chair dimensions fall within the stated ranges and you want to reduce floor contact noise without lifting furniture. It’s not for you if the legs are outside those ranges, or if you need a protector for a floor type not listed in the product information.
Buying verdict
BUMACO’s 20-piece set is worth considering for chairs on hardwood or tile when noise and scratch prevention are the main concerns. The removable, washable design gives it a practical edge over replacing adhesive pads, but it also makes measuring essential: a loose or incompatible cover may not stay securely on the leg. Choose it when the listed dimensions match your furniture and you want a gliding felt base, look for another style if your chair legs fall outside the stated fit ranges or you need a more specific fit guarantee.
