Brothersbox SMT-001 Price Tags, 1,000 Pre-Strung Writable Tags, 1 3/8 x 2 1/8 in

For sellers who need to label clothing, jewelry, or resale items, Brothersbox SMT-001 price tags combine a writable paper tag with an attached string. The pack contains 1,000 tags, each measuring 1 3/8 x 2 1/8 inches.

The tags arrive pre-strung, so they can be attached without tying a string onto each one. Their rectangular shape gives you room to write a price or another short identifying note.

Would hang tags work better than labels that stick directly to an item? That depends on what you are labeling and how you want the tag to attach.

Getting the most from it

Use these tags when an item needs a removable label that hangs from it. The listed uses include clothing, shoes, gloves, jewelry, merchandise, gifts, and keys. For a yard sale or consignment inventory, you can write the price or a brief identifier on the tag and attach it with its pre-tied string.

The pack size suits labeling many items or keeping a supply on hand. Compared with adhesive labels, a string-attached tag can be a better fit when you want the label to hang from an item rather than stick to its surface. It also gives you space for a name or message, according to the product details.

Benefits

The main practical advantage is having the string already attached. There is no need to prepare a separate fastener for every tag, and the knotted string is described as easy to add or remove without tying a knot yourself. The smooth writing surface is intended for quick marking, while the white, rectangular format makes the tag suitable for displaying handwritten information.

Buyer feedback describes the tags as easy to use for resale and consignment labeling, and some buyers appreciate the pre-tied strings and sturdiness. Those comments offer useful context, but they do not establish how every pen or ink will perform on the surface.

It suits you if you need a large supply of hang tags for pricing or identifying varied merchandise. A basic adhesive label may make more sense when you specifically need a sticker rather than a tag attached by string.

What to know

The listing describes the surface as matte and smooth, but buyer opinions about the finish are mixed. Some describe it as glossier than expected, and some report that handwritten ink can smear. That is worth considering if neat, immediately readable handwriting is important for your setup. Not the best choice if you need a confirmed smear-resistant writing surface, the provided details do not specify ink compatibility or drying time.

The tags are paper, so they are designed for marking and hanging rather than serving as a durable, permanent label. Their size gives room for a short price or note, but the product information does not specify a larger format or printed customization.

Before you decide

Are the tags already attached to strings? Yes. The tags are described as pre-strung, with a knotted string that can be added or removed without tying a knot.

What size are the tags? Each tag measures 1 3/8 x 2 1/8 inches, and the package contains 1,000.

Can you write on them? They are described as writable, but some buyers report smearing. The details do not name a compatible pen or ink, so the writing result may depend on what you use.

Is it worth it?

The SMT-001 is a straightforward fit when you need many white, string-attached tags for merchandise, resale items, or a yard sale. Its ready-attached strings and writable format make it more convenient for hanging labels than a roll of adhesive stickers. The main deciding factor is the writing surface: if smearing would cause problems, the buyer feedback makes ink performance a point to weigh before choosing these tags.
