## Description

Twist the adjustment dials to change resistance between sets, making it easier to move through different strength exercises without reaching for a separate dumbbell each time.

The BowFlex Results Series SelectTech 552 replaces 15 separate weights with an adjustable design. Its compact format helps keep a home workout area organized while giving you a broad range of weight settings.

A non-slip ergonomic handle and a locking system support a controlled, comfortable grip as you lift. Storage trays are included to keep the dumbbell stored between workouts.

## Pros

The dial-based adjustment lets you select from 5 to 52.5 pounds per dumbbell with a quick twist. That range is useful when your workout calls for different resistance levels, whether you are moving between exercises or adjusting the load for a particular lift.

Instead of arranging 15 individual weights, you can keep this all-in-one set in its storage tray. Reinforced metal plates and a locking system help keep the selected weights in place during use. The ergonomic, non-slip handle adds grip and control, while the metal handle construction provides a substantial feel in the hand.

## What matters most

This adjustable dumbbell is designed for strength training where flexibility in weight selection matters more than having a dedicated pair at every resistance. The dial makes changes straightforward, and the wide 5-to-52.5-pound range per dumbbell accommodates varied loading needs within one piece of equipment.

Its dimensions are 16.9 inches long, 8.3 inches wide, and 9 inches high per dumbbell. The supplied storage tray gives it a designated place between sessions. Compared with building a workout setup from separate fixed-weight dumbbells, this approach consolidates multiple weight options into one adjustable design, fixed weights may suit someone who prefers a dedicated dumbbell for each load, while SelectTech focuses on versatile selection and a more consolidated setup.

## Best use cases

Use it for home strength sessions where you want to change resistance across a workout without lining up multiple dumbbells. For example, set the dial to the load suited to one movement, then adjust it for the next exercise. The tray helps keep the equipment together when the session is over, and the non-slip handle is suited to repeated lifts where a secure grip is important.

The product also includes two months of JRNY access for training on a phone or tablet. This offers a way to pair the adjustable dumbbell with digital training during that introductory period.

## Practical questions

**How do you change the weight?** Turn the adjustment dials to select a setting. The available range runs from 5 to 52.5 pounds per dumbbell.

**Are storage trays included?** Yes. The set includes storage trays for keeping the dumbbell stored between workouts.

**Can it be used with JRNY?** JRNY training is available on a phone or tablet, with two months included.

## Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a single adjustable dumbbell to cover multiple resistance settings and help keep a home workout space organized. Its dial adjustment, included storage tray, non-slip ergonomic handle, and 5-to-52.5-pound range per dumbbell make it a practical fit for strength training that calls for changing loads without a collection of separate weights.
