## Description

Clear a stack of sensitive paperwork at the end of the workday with the BONSEN S3105. It shreds up to 24 sheets of letter-size, 20-pound paper at once and also handles CDs, staples, clips, credit cards, and junk mail, making it useful for routine document disposal in a home office or workplace.

Its cross-cut design produces P-4 shreds, while the 9-gallon pullout bin gives you room for collected waste. Casters make it easier to move the shredder where you need it.

## Practical tips
For paper, keep each batch within the 24-sheet capacity and use dry sheets for smoother feeding. The shredder can run for up to 40 minutes before a 60-minute cool-down period. Its indicators help you respond to common operating conditions: they show when the unit is overheated, overloaded, when the bin is open, or when it is full. If a jam occurs, the manual describes using the reverse control to clear the paper. For ongoing care, the manufacturer recommends lubricating the cutter with a lubricating sheet once or twice a month.

## What stands out
The S3105 pairs a substantial sheet capacity with cross-cut shredding, so it can process everyday paperwork in larger batches while turning documents into compact pieces. The P-4 security level and 5/32 x 1-12/32-inch shred size make it a practical alternative to strip-cut shredders when document privacy is a priority. Its 9-gallon bin holds up to 650 sheets of shredded paper, helping contain waste between emptying sessions.

At 55 dB, the shredder is designed for quieter operation, a helpful consideration when paperwork is handled near other work or in a home office. Buyers also highlight its capacity and quiet operation, and some describe it as suitable for extended shredding sessions. What makes it convenient for a busy workspace? The combination of a pullout bin, casters, and a 40-minute run time supports regular document cleanup without making the shredder difficult to reposition.
