## Description

Some routines work fine with manual switching, others are easier to manage on a schedule. Need one timer to coordinate two plugged-in devices? The BN-LINK U78-2Pack offers up to eight on/off programs for its two grounded outlets, which operate together. Its seven-day programming suits recurring indoor or outdoor schedules.

## Usage tips
Set the timer around the routine you want to automate, such as scheduled yard lighting or other compatible plugged-in equipment. You can create up to eight on/off programs, with settings as short as one minute, giving you room to build a schedule around shorter intervals as well as regular daily routines. Since both outlets are controlled simultaneously, connected devices follow the same programmed switching times.

For a practical setup, connect devices that you want to switch on and off together, then program their shared schedule. Keep the connected load within the timer’s stated electrical ratings. The timer is intended for indoor and outdoor use and is listed as waterproof, making it relevant for scheduled tasks in either setting.

## Where it shines
The two-outlet design is useful when a pair of compatible devices should follow one routine, rather than being switched separately. For example, you can set up recurring control for two outdoor items that need to run on the same schedule. The seven-day format is also a natural match for routines that repeat throughout the week, while the one-minute minimum setting adds flexibility when a schedule calls for shorter intervals.

Buyers often highlight how easy the timer is to program and use, along with its flexible scheduling. Feedback on auto on/off operation and durability is mixed, with some buyers reporting reliable scheduled switching and others describing inconsistent operation or varied product life. The documented programming options and shared outlet control are the key points to consider when matching it to a routine.

## When it makes sense
Choose this two-pack when you want scheduled control in more than one location, or when two devices at a location should share the same on/off routine. It combines seven-day programming, up to eight programs, and two outlets that switch together in each timer. If two devices need different schedules, a separate timer for each schedule is a better match, for coordinated recurring tasks, the BN-LINK U78-2Pack keeps the setup centered on one shared program per pair of outlets.
