## Description

For households that want indoor comfort readings alongside outdoor conditions, the BluSon BJ8284 brings temperature, humidity, weather forecasting, and time information together on one color display. Its wireless sensor helps you check conditions beyond the room where the main unit sits, while the forecast and atmospheric pressure readings add useful context for everyday plans.

The adjustable backlight and large display make key readings easier to scan at a glance, whether the station is on a desk or mounted on a wall.

## Who it’s for
The BJ8284 suits homes that want a shared view of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, including bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, offices, gardens, and greenhouses. Customizable temperature and humidity alerts can help you keep an eye on spaces where changing conditions matter, such as a nursery, basement, or greenhouse. The station also displays the date, time, moon phase, and atmospheric pressure, bringing several everyday reference points into one place.

If you’re choosing between a basic thermometer and a more complete home weather station, this model adds a 12-hour forecast, wireless outdoor monitoring, and an atomic clock rather than focusing on temperature alone.

## Pros
The color screen presents readings and weather icons together, so you can check indoor and outdoor conditions without switching between separate devices. Four adjustable backlight settings let you choose a display brightness for the room, and the unit can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall.

The forecast uses intuitive icons to show expected conditions for the next 12 hours. Temperature and humidity alerts add a practical way to notice when readings in a monitored space reach the levels you set. The WWVB atomic clock receives daily calibration signals and adjusts for daylight saving time automatically, dual alarms and snooze add useful functions for a bedroom or home office.

Customer feedback particularly appreciates the display’s clear, colorful presentation and large, easy-to-read numbers. Opinions on setup and sensor connectivity vary, as do reports about reading and time accuracy, so those experiences are not uniform.

## Quick overview
The main unit displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, a weather forecast, atmospheric pressure, moon phases, date, and time. It supports up to three wireless remote sensors, with one sensor included. The stated transmission range is up to 328FT/100M in an open area. Use it on a desk or mount it on a wall, depending on where you want the information visible.

The unit is powered by corded electric power, and a power cord is included. In battery mode, the backlight turns off after 10 seconds to conserve power, batteries are not included. The listed temperature accuracy is ±0.5°C. The black ABS unit measures 7.8"D x 1.3"W x 5.3"H and weighs 11.8 ounces.

## Before you decide
**What information does the display show?** It brings together indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, a forecast for the next 12 hours, atmospheric pressure, moon phases, date, and time.

**Can it monitor more than one outdoor location?** The station supports up to three wireless remote sensors. One sensor is included, and the stated open-area transmission range is up to 328FT/100M.

**How does the clock handle time changes?** Its WWVB atomic clock receives calibration signals daily and automatically adjusts for daylight saving time. It supports PST, MST, CST, and EST, with dual alarms and snooze.

## When it makes sense
Choose the BJ8284 when you want more than a standalone indoor thermometer or clock: it combines home readings, an outdoor sensor, forecast icons, alerts, and timekeeping in one display. It’s a practical fit for a household that wants to check conditions in a frequently used room and keep an eye on another area, while also having the forecast and clock visible in the same spot.
