Everyday use
Use the live view to check on a baby, pet, or another area of your home from a phone or tablet. The camera detects people, motion, and abnormal sounds, then sends alerts to your phone. When an alert is triggered, it automatically records a 12-second video to the cloud, stored for 24 hours without a subscription or monthly fee. This gives you a short record to review when you cannot watch the live feed.
The 360° coverage and motion tracking offer a different approach from a fixed-angle camera: rather than monitoring only one direction, the A31 can follow movement around the room. IR-CUT night vision helps keep the view useful in dim conditions, and privacy mode provides a way to pause monitoring at home. With two-way audio, you can speak through the camera, whether you are checking in from another room or away from home.
How to use it
Connect the wired camera and use the blurams app to view its live feed, receive alerts, and communicate through two-way audio. The app can show feeds from up to four cameras at once and lets you share camera access with unlimited family members. For a baby’s room, for example, you can check the live view from a phone, speak through the camera, and receive an alert if motion or an unusual sound is detected.
The camera can also work with Alexa or Google Assistant devices with screens for voice access to the live stream. IFTTT compatibility supports coordination with other smart devices. For recording, the product supports local memory cards up to 128GB, the 64GB TF card is included with this version. Optional cloud storage and 24/7 continuous video recording are also available.
When it makes sense
The A31 is suited to home monitoring when you want a broad room view, motion-following coverage, and a way to check in or talk through the camera. It brings useful monitoring tools together for a nursery, living space, or pet area: 2K video, alerts for people, motion, or abnormal sounds, night vision, and app-based viewing. A solid pick if you want one camera that can follow activity and support both live check-ins and alert recordings, with local storage available through the included card.
