BlumeTrec POS-001-11 Manual Pole Saw, 14.5-Foot Reach, Mn Steel Blade

With a maximum reach of 14.5 feet, the BlumeTrec POS-001-11 brings high-branch trimming within reach from the ground. Its manual, sectioned pole adjusts to three lengths for different pruning tasks. Need to switch between nearby growth and elevated branches? Connect or remove sections to set the reach for the job.

How to use it

Assemble the pole by connecting the sections, then choose the configuration that fits the work: 8.5 feet with 6 sections, 11 feet with 8 sections, or 14.5 feet with 11 sections. The modular design makes it practical to use the saw at a shorter reach for closer trimming or extend it to reach higher branches. Because the pole saw is manual, cutting is controlled by hand rather than an electric motor or battery.

The Mn steel blade has a three-sided edge and double-sided barbs designed to grip branches while you saw. An anti-slip grip supports handling, and an extra screw secures the saw head to the pole. For yard or garden maintenance, this setup can help you trim elevated branches while standing on the ground instead of climbing a ladder. It also works as a handheld pruning saw for closer tasks, so one tool can serve both near and high-reach pruning.

What stands out

The adjustable, detachable sections are the key distinction from a fixed-length pruning saw: you can tailor the reach instead of using the same pole length for every task. A shorter configuration can suit closer pruning, while the full 14.5-foot setup is intended for taller branches in yards, gardens, and patios. The saw can also be used for shrubs, hedges, and trees such as palms, pines, firs, and oaks, making it useful for varied outdoor trimming.

The blade’s barbed, three-sided design is intended to hold onto branches and cut from multiple angles. The stainless steel pole sections have a matte, powder-coated finish, and the saw head is secured with an additional screw. Together, these design details support a practical manual setup for routine tree and landscape care. Compared with keeping separate tools for close and elevated pruning, the adjustable reach offers a single saw configuration for both kinds of work.

Buyer feedback often highlights cutting performance, easy assembly, and usefulness for backyard maintenance. Comments about sturdiness are mixed, so it is helpful to assemble the sections securely and use the anti-slip grip for control while trimming.

Final verdict

The BlumeTrec POS-001-11 suits gardeners and homeowners who want a manual saw that can handle both close pruning and higher branches. Its three reach settings, barbed Mn steel blade, and sectioned pole make it a practical fit for varied yard, garden, and patio work—especially when the task calls for reaching overhead growth from the ground.
