## Description

## Key features

Trim overhead branches from the ground with the BlumeTrec POS-001-08 manual pole saw. Its detachable pole sections let you adjust the setup for different pruning tasks, while the three-sided blade and double-sided barbs are designed to grip branches and cut from multiple angles. The anti-slip grip supports controlled handling as you work.

This is a hand-powered saw, so pruning does not depend on a battery or power cord. The pole sections connect and come apart for a setup suited to the job, and a screw secures the saw head to the pole. A powder-coated finish on the poles and a blade designed to resist rust support regular outdoor use.

## Size & fit

The product is identified as an 11FT pole saw, with a modular design that lets you remove sections for closer trimming or attach them for higher branches. Its blade is 16.7 inches long. The handle is plastic, and the listed item weight is 1.88 kg. For assembly, connect the pole sections you need and secure the saw head with the extra screw before cutting.

The adjustable format offers a different approach from a short handheld pruning saw: instead of using a ladder to reach elevated limbs, you can work from the ground with the pole extended. For shrubs or branches within arm’s reach, using fewer sections gives you a more compact setup.

## Everyday use

Use the extended pole for tree maintenance, including pruning branches over a yard, patio, or garden. The barbed blade is designed to hold onto a branch while you saw, and its three-sided edge supports cutting from different angles. For lower growth, detach sections and use the saw in a shorter configuration. This gives one tool a practical role in both close-up trimming and higher-reach work.

Buyers often highlight the saw’s cutting ability, straightforward assembly, and usefulness for backyard upkeep. Feedback on steadiness is mixed, so take a controlled approach: keep a secure grip and position the blade carefully before sawing. The included wrench is listed as a component for assembly.

## Practical questions

**Is this saw powered by a motor or battery?** No. It is a manual pole saw operated by hand, with no electric or battery power source described.

**Can the pole length be adjusted?** Yes. The pole uses detachable sections that can be connected or removed to change the setup for close trimming or higher branches.

**Can it be used without the extended pole?** Yes. The product is described for both handheld and extended use, so it can be configured for reachable shrubs and branches as well as overhead pruning.

## Buying verdict

Choose the BlumeTrec POS-001-08 for yard and garden pruning that calls for both close control and added reach. Its manual operation, adjustable pole sections, barbed three-sided blade, and anti-slip grip make it a versatile fit for routine trimming at different heights.
