## Description

Floating 3/16-inch pellets make feeding easy to observe, while their quick-softening texture helps koi and goldfish eat comfortably. Blue Ridge Fish Hatchery Platinum Pro provides 41% protein for the warm, active feeding season, with color-supporting ingredients and probiotics in the same everyday formula.

Use the floating pellets to watch how much your fish eat and portion their meal accordingly. The recommended practice is to offer only what they finish in about five minutes, helping keep pond water clear.

## How it fits

Platinum Pro is made for koi and goldfish during warm-season feeding, when they are active and eating heavily. Its all-life-stages positioning makes it suitable for routine feeding across different life stages, and the 3/16-inch pellet format offers a consistent option for pond or aquarium feeding. Spirulina and canthaxanthin provide color support as part of the daily diet, so color-focused nutrition is built into the same food rather than requiring a separate color-enhancing formula.

For a practical feeding routine, scatter a measured amount across the water’s surface and observe your fish as they feed. Because the pellets float, you can monitor their response and adjust the portion to what is eaten in about five minutes. This approach is useful when you want to keep feeding visible and avoid leaving excess food behind.

## What stands out

The 41% protein content supports the product’s role as a high-protein warm-season diet. The formula also includes Primilac probiotic for immune support, alongside spirulina and canthaxanthin for color support. Together, these ingredients give keepers one food for everyday nutrition and color-focused feeding, instead of switching between separate regular and color-enhancing foods during the warm season.

The pellets soften within seconds, helping make them easier for koi and goldfish to eat while remaining visible at the surface. Buyers often describe the food as nutritious and note vibrant coloration and appropriately sized pellets. Feedback on acceptance varies: some say their fish eat it readily, while others report that their fish do not take to it. Individual feeding response can differ, so observing your fish during meals helps guide portioning.

## Is it worth it?

Platinum Pro brings protein-rich everyday nutrition, probiotic support, and color-supporting ingredients together in a single floating pellet formula. That combination suits koi and goldfish keepers who want a warm-season food that is easy to observe at feeding time and does not require a separate color-enhancing food for that purpose. The 50 lb bag is a practical format for regular pond feeding. For a routine centered on visible portions and one food for both daily nutrition and color support, this formula offers a focused fit.
