## Description

At 3.33 x 2.63 x 1.18 inches, the BKIY Bkiy-wm01 wireless lavalier microphone system is a compact setup for recording on a phone or tablet. It includes two clip-on microphones, a charging case, and a receiver for USB-C and Lightning devices, making it practical for interviews, vlogging, streaming, and voiceovers.

The two microphones let two people record together, or give you a second mic to keep on hand. Noise reduction can be switched on or off at the microphone, so you can adapt the setup to different recording situations.

## What to know

This system uses 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and is designed for smartphone and tablet recording. Connect the receiver to your device to get started, the microphones are described as plug-and-play, with no app or Bluetooth pairing required. A green receiver light indicates it is ready to record, and the receiver can remain connected while you play back a video.

The included charging case provides a stated 30 hours of total runtime, with two microphones used alternately, the listed runtime is 8 hours. Its LED screen shows the remaining battery level, while an LED on the receiver displays the current mode. You can also charge your phone while recording through the receiver.

Buyers often mention ease of use, while feedback on sound and connectivity is mixed. The clip-on format offers a different recording approach from relying on a phone’s built-in mic: it lets the speaker wear a microphone while the phone captures the video. For a two-person interview, each speaker can use one mic. What could make that setup simpler than managing separate recordings? Both microphones connect through the same receiver.

## Everyday use

The microphones are small and portable, weighing 0.35 ounces each according to the product details. Clip one on for a short video, online class, meeting, or livestream, then use the second for another speaker or as a backup. The included charging cable and case help keep the recording kit together between sessions.

## Usage tips

Choose the receiver connection that matches your device: the system is described as compatible with USB-C and Lightning port devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and tablets. On Android, turn on the device’s OTG function before pairing. The product notes that recording can work without removing the phone case.

Use the microphone controls to adjust the recording mode: click the noise-reduction control to switch noise reduction on or off. The M button controls reverb, while a double-click of the power button mutes or unmutes the microphone without restarting it. These controls are useful when moving between an interview, a spoken video, and a live session.

## Before you decide

**Can two people record at the same time?** Yes. The two-microphone setup supports simultaneous two-person recording, including interviews and livestreams.

**Does it need a recording app or Bluetooth connection?** The product is described as plug-and-play, with no app or Bluetooth pairing required. Connect the receiver to the device to record.

**What comes with the microphone system?** The listed contents are two lavalier microphones, one charging case, one receiver for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, one charging cable, and one user manual.

## When it makes sense

Choose the Bkiy-wm01 when you want a portable phone-recording setup that can handle one speaker or a two-person conversation. Its dual mics, USB-C/Lightning receiver, and charging case suit creators recording interviews, vlogs, classes, or livestreams on compatible mobile devices.
