## Description

Parents looking for a newborn sleep space that can stay close during the day and beside the bed at night can use the BEKA bassinet in two ways. Its standalone mode supports moving it between rooms, while the retractable side converts it to a bedside sleeper.

Four auto-lock wheels make it easier to move the bassinet: lift either side to roll it, then set it down so the wheels retract into stable feet. Breathable mesh sides provide visibility around the sleeping area.

The adjustable frame, four bed-attachment straps, and soft mattress make this a practical choice for keeping a baby nearby during rest and nighttime care.

## Usage tips
Use the standalone mode when you want the bassinet nearby in another room during the day. Its mesh sides let you see into the sleep space, and the wheels are designed to move when you lift either side. When you set the frame down, the wheels retract into feet.

For bedside use, lower the retractable side and secure the fabric layer with its zipper so it lies flat. Attach all four straps to the adult bed to hold the bassinet close and help keep it from shifting away. Set the height to align with the bed, the four available settings span 28 to 31 inches. The product description identifies low platform beds and standard or thicker mattresses as intended fit examples within that adjustment range.

The two modes suit different moments in the same routine: keep the bassinet freestanding for daytime mobility, then position it beside the bed for nighttime feeding, checking, or comforting. Unlike a fixed bedside-only setup, this design can also serve as a separate sleep space around the home.

## Best use cases
This bassinet is suited to families who want one sleep space for both room-to-room use and bedside care. For example, a caregiver can keep it near the living area while relaxing, then use the retractable side and bed straps at night to keep the baby close for care from bed. The four height settings also offer flexibility when matching the bassinet to different bed heights within its adjustment range.

When it is not in use, the frame folds flat to 38.6 × 23.6 inches for storage under a bed, in a closet, or in most car trunks. That folding format can help households make room between uses or transport the bassinet as needed.

## When it makes sense
Choose the BEKA when you value a bedside sleeper that can also function as a movable standalone bassinet. The adjustable height, retractable side, four-point bed attachment, and auto-lock wheels address distinct parts of everyday use: positioning it near the bed, securing it for bedside access, and moving it between rooms. The breathable mesh sides and soft fleece mattress add practical details to a setup designed for newborn care. It is especially useful for caregivers who want the baby close during both daytime routines and nighttime feeding or comforting.
