At 36 x 27 x 3 inches, the rectangular bed creates a defined resting spot for a large dog at home, in a car, or in a crate. Compared with a basic flat mat, this design combines shaped foam support with a plush top. It also suits owners who prefer a removable, machine-washable cover over a one-piece bed. ## Tech summary The polyurethane foam has an egg crate shape intended to cushion the body and support comfortable rest. Sherpa fleece adds a soft surface, and the dark gray Oxford fabric cover can be removed for washing. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, and the sherpa fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 approved. The nonslip bottom helps keep the bed in place on the floor, making it a practical option for a regular sleeping area. Its rectangular profile also fits naturally into indoor spaces, cars, and crates. The 36 x 27 x 3-inch dimensions give you a concrete way to compare its footprint with the space where your dog usually settles. ## Compatibility & requirements This bed is intended for dogs and is listed for indoor use, car travel, and crates. Its flat rectangular shape works as a standalone resting mat or as bedding in a suitably sized crate. Measure the available space and compare it with the bed’s dimensions so it fits the intended spot while leaving room for your dog to lie comfortably. The product is not chew-resistant. For a dog that chews bedding, choose a bed specifically designed for that behavior, this one is better suited to pets that use their bed for resting. ## Usage tips The cover is machine washable. Unzip and remove it before washing, then air-dry it, using a lint roller or pet-hair remover first can help lift loose hair from the fabric. Avoid high heat to help preserve the cover. These care steps make it easier to refresh the sleeping surface without washing the foam itself. If the foam looks uneven or has not fully expanded after unpacking, leave it in a warm, ventilated area to expand before placing it in the cover. For an arched section, gently fold the foam in the opposite direction and press it several times. This gives it room to settle into shape before your dog uses the bed. Customer feedback often highlights the soft feel and removable cover as useful everyday features. Opinions on size and durability are mixed, so use the listed measurements to judge the fit for your dog and preferred resting space. ## Practical questions **Can the cover be washed?** Yes. Remove it from the bed and machine wash it, then air-dry it. Removing loose pet hair with a lint roller before washing can help with cleanup. **What should I do if the foam looks compressed after unpacking?** Give it time to expand in a warm, ventilated area before fitting it into the cover. If it appears arched, gently fold it the other way and press it several times. **Is this bed suitable for a dog that chews bedding?** It is not chew-resistant. It is intended for resting, so a chew-resistant bed is a better fit for a dog that chews its bedding. ## When it makes sense It makes sense if you want a cushioned, sherpa-topped resting place with a removable cover for regular cleaning, and the 36 x 27-inch footprint suits your dog’s sleeping area. For a home bed, crate mat, or car resting spot, its shaped foam and nonslip bottom bring practical comfort to a familiar place to settle. ## Images ![Bedsure 36-Inch Dog Bed, Sherpa Cover, Egg Crate Foam, Dark Gray — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/WqaHqeoFetkDjF_XUrwel8ONWemD4NIDZ_WcXbAloRdQVM3WFog2M0DDnTx8ojm5s-aU4_i4-920KseL-UTY8ZLDvWyklrw0wVWiQPGEfeqR37x69xq5_tVcMA.jpg) ![Bedsure 36-Inch Dog Bed, Sherpa Cover, Egg Crate Foam, Dark Gray — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/KMppdC2zZQF32Hyyx0xbd5Hu71ZekugQy8iHfgERwMNmdOw86yxIs4raVi1qerKLhaPehwODIy_hPVHpq86eHxBm9ggVi39hKSRKJK4LqAxzjdhbc1cHmOI81Q.jpg) ![Bedsure 36-Inch Dog Bed, Sherpa Cover, Egg Crate Foam, Dark Gray — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/uiQrq88dXWzRRGpgbfqvxuYEkZfgfz21kESOO0W-U1DGgZ_eRmvy9GdL-E5DgVvSbh8CXW4vu0_8Tyo6H6rCHcC4ySnMCjovVq6VMgWdAv6t1sIzMMFq77j7NQ.jpg) ![Bedsure 36-Inch Dog Bed, Sherpa Cover, Egg Crate Foam, Dark Gray — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/04Mlk2N0R_ozMGipyQPDeCTcxBuHlX_4hlumtgx7lHhEhvwXxgYOMVwLoVK4iWy8Z3zjYD0Z-eSQETiUUD8fuEWcMI5rLlKhqAyE3-LWDyJ7EMCvbr4ZERivlQ.jpg) ![Bedsure 36-Inch Dog Bed, Sherpa Cover, Egg Crate Foam, Dark Gray — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/nP3rlhsH9FmzIVyPPRqebmoNJDIuja8tzCThu9vgrfB13XbJpkDljqusveiEkKRmx8YqXFbQICxjiuXd8XbmPiYWytneotR9a4GXT1V5ifvEhInJ_cg7BBZfZw.jpg)
