BEDLORE Waterproof Mattress Protector, Cal King

Best use cases

Households looking to shield a Cal King mattress from everyday spills, dirt, or nighttime accidents may appreciate this two-pack, especially if they want a washable cover rather than relying on a basic fitted sheet. The quilted top is intended to add a softer layer while the waterproof backing helps keep liquid from reaching the mattress.

It also makes sense for a guest room or a bed that sees frequent changes, since one protector can be in use while the other is being washed. Picture a drink tipping over during breakfast in bed: the TPU layer is designed to block the spill, and the cover can then go into the washing machine.

Product specs

The set contains two black mattress protectors in Cal King size. Each has a fitted design with a 360-degree elastic skirt for mattresses from 6 to 18 inches deep. The deep-pocket range is useful for accommodating different mattress profiles, but fit still depends on measuring the mattress itself rather than assuming every Cal King has the same depth.

The cover combines a quilted surface with a TPU waterproof layer. BEDLORE describes the fabric as soft, breathable, and noiseless, and says the quilting helps keep the filling evenly distributed. Those details point to a protector meant to feel more like a padded bed layer than a thin, crinkly barrier. On the spec sheet, it also promises temperature regulation, the listing does not provide further detail about how that effect is achieved.

Care is straightforward: machine wash, then tumble dry on low. The instructions say not to iron or bleach it. That gives you a clear cleaning routine, though the provided information does not specify fabric composition or a more detailed wash cycle.

Where it shines

The appeal here is combining mattress protection with a quilted, softer surface in one fitted cover. Compared with a basic, unpadded waterproof protector, this design may suit someone who wants a little more cushioning and a less utilitarian feel. Compared with buying a mattress pad primarily for added plushness, its main job is still liquid protection, so shoppers focused on substantial extra cushioning may want to look for clearer padding details.

The fitted skirt is another practical feature: it is intended to hold the cover in place around the mattress instead of leaving a loose layer to shift during sleep. Still, the stated fit range is the key limitation. A mattress outside the 6-to-18-inch depth range may not get the secure fit described, and the product details do not establish compatibility with other bed sizes. Worth considering if you want two washable Cal King protectors and your mattress falls within that depth range. Better avoided if you need a different size or want documented details about the materials and padding thickness before choosing.

Buying verdict

This BEDLORE set is aimed at buyers who want a Cal King mattress covered against spills without giving up a quilted surface. The two-pack and low-heat drying instructions suit a household that prefers having a spare cover ready, while the waterproof backing addresses a more specific need than an ordinary mattress pad.

The decision comes down to fit and priorities: measure the mattress depth, then decide whether a washable waterproof layer with light quilted comfort matches the bed you have. Choose it when liquid protection and a second cover matter more than detailed material specifications or a substantial cushioning upgrade, pass if those missing specifics are central to your purchase.
