## Description

A one-sided topper asks you to choose a feel and stick with it. The BEDELITE 3-inch mattress topper takes a more flexible approach: one side has egg-crate memory foam for a softer, cushioned feel, while the flat side uses high-density foam for a firmer surface. That gives you a way to adjust the feel of a King mattress without replacing it.

The tradeoff is that the two sides are described by sleep position, not by a specific firmness rating. If you need a precise feel, that detail isn’t provided.

## Size & fit

This topper is made for a King-size mattress and adds 3 inches of foam. The egg-crate side is described as softer and more elastic, with a closer, cushioned feel that may appeal to side sleepers. Flip it to the flat side for a firmer, more stable surface, which the product positions for back or stomach sleepers. Those are useful starting points, not a guarantee that either side will match your personal comfort preferences.

For example, if your usual setup feels too firm when you lie on your side, you could try the egg-crate surface first. If you prefer less sink when sleeping on your back, the flat side offers a different feel without switching toppers. The foam is intended to conform to body curves and distribute weight, but the listing doesn’t give a firmness scale or further support measurements.

## Pros

- Two distinct surfaces let you change the feel by flipping the topper rather than committing to one foam style.
- The cover unzips and is machine washable, which helps with routine upkeep after spills or when pet hair collects.
- Wide elastic corner straps and silicone strips on the bottom are intended to help limit shifting and bunching.
- The cover is described as bamboo viscose, adding a removable layer between the foam and your bedding.

Worth considering if you want a reversible topper and value a washable cover. It may not suit you if you need a precisely specified firmness, since the product describes the sides comparatively rather than providing a rating. The cover can be washed, but the listing doesn’t say that the foam itself is washable. Without having tried it, the most practical caveat is setup time: the vacuum-compressed foam needs 48–72 hours in a well-ventilated room to fully expand.

## When it makes sense

This design makes the most sense if your current mattress is usable but you want to change its surface feel, or if you’d like two comfort options in one topper. The removable cover and securing features also address practical concerns beyond cushioning. Compared with a simpler, single-surface topper, the flip design gives you another feel to try, compared with choosing bedding for a specific measured firmness, it offers less precision. Allow the foam time to expand before judging its shape, and choose it only if a 3-inch addition and the two broadly described feel options fit what you want from your bed.
