## Description

For dogs with an 18-inch neck circumference, this Large BEAUTYZOO donut collar creates a soft barrier around the neck during post-surgical recovery. The Pizza design gives this recovery collar a distinctive look, while its adjustable hook-and-loop closure helps tailor the fit.

Unlike a traditional rigid cone, this inflatable neck collar is designed to support a pet’s neck without blocking their vision. That can make everyday activities such as eating, drinking, resting, and moving around easier during the healing period.

For a more secure fit, thread your dog’s regular collar through the inner retaining straps, then fasten the recovery collar. Its reflective design is another practical detail for pets moving around in low-light conditions.

## Quick overview

The BEAUTYZOO dog recovery collar is intended to help keep dogs from licking or biting at a wound after surgery. The donut shape surrounds the neck to create a protective barrier, while the soft construction offers an alternative to a wide, rigid Elizabethan cone. It can also be used during grooming or veterinary visits, when access around the pet’s head and face is useful.

This Large size is listed for a neck circumference of 16–18 inches. Measure your dog’s neck before choosing a size, then secure the collar with its hook-and-loop fastener. The inner straps are designed to hold the pet’s everyday collar in place through the recovery collar, helping keep the donut positioned around the neck.

## Cleaning & care

The collar has a removable liner. For cleaning, remove the liner and machine-wash the collar coverlet as directed in the product information. Keeping the coverlet clean is useful when the collar is worn repeatedly during a recovery period. The soft collar can also serve as a neck pillow when your pet is resting, making it a versatile piece of recovery gear between supervised activities.

## Practical tips

Before use, measure around your dog’s neck and compare the result with the 16–18-inch range for this Large size. Once fitted, thread the regular collar through the inside retaining straps and adjust the hook-and-loop closure so the donut sits comfortably around the neck. Check the fit after fastening and during wear, especially if your dog is active or tends to paw at recovery gear.

A soft donut collar and a traditional plastic cone serve the same broad recovery need but offer different everyday experiences. A rigid cone creates a more prominent barrier around the head, this donut style is designed to leave vision unobstructed while surrounding the neck. For pets that need a recovery collar for eating, drinking, resting, or moving around at home, that format can be a practical alternative. The reflective design is a helpful detail when a dog is out in low light.

Customer feedback often highlights comfort and the ability to eat or sleep while wearing the collar. Fit and inflation experiences vary, so choosing the size by neck measurement and securing the collar as intended are important parts of getting it positioned for your dog.

## Buying verdict

Choose the BEAUTYZOO Large Pizza donut collar when you want a soft, adjustable recovery barrier for a dog whose neck measures within the stated 16–18-inch range. Its vision-conscious shape, inner collar-retention straps, and removable coverlet make it suited to everyday post-surgical wear and care routines. It brings together wound-protection support and a less bulky format for pets that need room to see and move during recovery.
