Bates Choice KEZV003B434VQ Weatherproof 1-Gang Outlet Covers, 3-Pack

Each clear cover measures 4.6"W x 5.9"H x 3" and is made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate. This three-pack is designed to help shield outdoor 1-gang electrical outlets from rain and dust, while the clear finish keeps the outlet visible.

For a patio outlet used with seasonal lights or other outdoor equipment, a weatherproof cover provides a different kind of protection than a basic indoor wall plate. The screw-in design and built-in seal are practical features for an exposed outlet location.

Getting the most from it

Use these covers over outdoor 1-gang outlets where protection from weather and dust is important. The seal is designed to help keep water and dust from entering the outlet area, and the polycarbonate construction is UV-stabilized for outdoor exposure. That makes the set relevant for locations such as a porch, patio, or exterior utility area, where an outlet may be needed for lights or other outdoor use.

Installation is screw-in, so position the cover over the outlet and secure it using the mounting hardware. Before installing, make sure the outlet is a 1-gang configuration and that the cover can sit properly against the mounting surface. For an outdoor outlet that needs a protective enclosure, this offers a more weather-focused approach than a standard indoor plate.
