## Description

Solar charging gives the BAIJIALI BJL-671SL another way to stay powered when you’re away from an outlet. With AM, FM, and shortwave reception, it brings news, music, sports, and weather broadcasts into a portable format for camping, travel, and emergency preparedness.

A built-in 5W speaker delivers sound for listening indoors or outdoors, while USB-C charging offers a convenient alternative when sunlight is unavailable. Its compact gray design is easy to bring along as part of an outdoor kit or keep accessible at home.

## At a glance
The BJL-671SL receives AM, FM, SW1, and SW2 bands. A DSP chip processes signals to help reduce interference, and the extendable antenna can help improve reception. Tune broadcasts with the large knob, choose a band using the dedicated controls, and adjust volume separately. This straightforward layout keeps common radio functions easy to reach.

A built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery powers the radio. Recharge it through the integrated solar panel or with the included USB-C cable, a full USB-C charge takes approximately 4–6 hours. The radio can also be used while charging. At 7.28 x 3.11 x 4.52 inches, it’s sized for a bedside table, a go-bag, or packing for a trip. Compared with an AM/FM-only portable radio, the shortwave bands add more broadcast options for listeners who want to tune across several bands.

Customers often praise the compact size and sound, and some find solar charging useful for camping. Feedback is mixed on battery life, solar-panel functionality, and reception, so real-world experiences vary. The radio’s mix of solar and USB-C charging gives you two ways to power it as you use its broadcast features.

## Who it’s for
This radio suits people who want a portable source of broadcasts at home or on the go. It can be useful at a campsite, in a travel bag, or in an emergency kit for access to music, news, sports, and weather updates. The solar panel offers a charging option outdoors, while USB-C provides a practical way to recharge when you have access to a compatible power source.

## How to use it
Select AM, FM, or shortwave with the dedicated band controls, then turn the large tuning knob to find a station and adjust the volume independently. Extend the antenna to help strengthen the signal. For power, recharge using the solar panel or connect the included USB-C cable to a power source, charging takes approximately 4–6 hours. A USB-C power adapter is not included. You can listen while the radio is charging, which is useful when you want to keep a broadcast on as it powers up.

## Should you buy it?
A solid pick if you want a portable radio with AM/FM and shortwave reception, a built-in speaker, and both solar and USB-C charging. Its simple controls make it straightforward to tune in at home, while its compact size and multiple charging options suit camping, travel, and emergency-preparedness setups.
