## Description

Some listeners want a radio for one room, others need one they can move around the house or take along. The BAIJIALI BJL-671 combines AM, FM, and shortwave tuning in a portable, rechargeable design. Want one simple way to switch between bands for music, news, traffic, or sports? Large tuning and volume controls help keep everyday listening straightforward.

## Quick overview
This radio covers AM, FM, and shortwave broadcasts, with band buttons for switching between them and a telescopic antenna that can be extended to support reception. Its 5W speaker is designed for clear listening to music and spoken programs. A retro-style plastic enclosure measures 7.28 × 3.11 × 4.52 inches, and the radio weighs 0.45 kg, making it practical to move between a kitchen, bedroom, office, or campsite.

The built-in rechargeable battery supports portable listening, while USB-C power gives you another way to run or recharge the radio. A USB-C charging cable is included, connect it to a USB power source such as a computer or power bank. Buyers often praise the sound, reception, and portability, while feedback on battery life and long-term reliability is mixed. That makes it useful to consider both its multi-band access and rechargeable format when choosing a radio for everyday listening.

## Practical tips
For AM, FM, and shortwave reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna and try positioning the radio in different places, such as near a window. Reception can vary with the surrounding environment. To recharge, connect the supplied USB-C cable to a DC 5V USB power source, the radio can also be used while charging. Charging takes approximately 4–6 hours. A USB power adapter is not included, so use a compatible adapter you already have, or another USB power source.

## How to use it
Choose AM, FM, or shortwave with the band buttons, then use the large tuning control to find a station and the volume buttons to set the listening level. Extend the antenna and adjust the radio’s position when tuning, especially if you are listening indoors. The straightforward controls suit quick listening in a kitchen or office, while the rechargeable battery and compact design make it easy to carry for a trip or outdoor activity. For emergency-kit use, charge it beforehand and include the USB-C cable so you have a practical way to recharge it from a USB power source.

## When it makes sense
A single-band radio suits listeners who only need one kind of broadcast. The BJL-671 is a better fit when you want AM, FM, and shortwave tuning together, along with a speaker and charging options for both stationary and portable use. It makes sense if you want to move one radio between rooms, listen to news or sports while doing other tasks, or pack a compact receiver for travel and camping. Its mix of multiple broadcast bands, direct controls, and USB-C charging is the main reason to choose it for flexible everyday listening.
