## Description

The 65-foot, 1/2-inch hose uses a rubber-hybrid material designed for flexible, year-round use. Its wall-mounted reel swivels up to 180° to follow watering around the yard. Choose a spray pattern for the task, then let the hose retract into its housing for tidier storage. It suits a fixed watering station, while a standalone hose is better for moving between storage locations.

## Highlights

The dual-ratchet lock holds the hose at the length you need, so you can reach a garden bed or rinse a patio without managing a loose coil. When you give the hose a gentle pull, the automatic rewind draws it back with a controlled return. A self-aligning guide helps keep winding orderly as the hose returns to the reel.

The included nozzle offers nine spray patterns, from mist to jet, for tasks such as watering plants, washing a car, or cleaning outdoor surfaces. A non-slip grip supports handling as you switch patterns. The 180° swivel bracket lets the reel turn toward the work area, and the package includes mounting hardware, the bracket, nozzle, reel, and user manual. The reel also comes with a 24-month limited warranty.

Buyer feedback is mixed on day-to-day operation: some appreciate the reel’s function and appearance, while others report difficulty with retraction and problems involving fittings or leaks. Those differing experiences are useful context when weighing a retractable wall-mounted setup against a simpler hose kept on a portable reel.

## Cleaning & care

For winter storage in freezing conditions, the manufacturer recommends draining remaining water from the hose and storing the unit indoors. When retracting, guide the hose back toward the reel by hand to keep its return controlled. These simple steps help keep the hose organized between watering sessions and support careful seasonal storage.

## How to use it

Mount the reel to a suitable wall using the included swivel bracket and mounting hardware, following the user manual for installation. The 6-foot leader hose connects the reel to the water supply, while the 65-foot hose extends to the area you need to reach. Pull out the required length and use the lock to hold it in position. Select one of the nozzle’s nine patterns for the job, from a gentle mist for plants to a jet for outdoor cleanup.

For example, the reel can stay mounted near a patio while the hose reaches nearby planters or a vehicle. After watering or rinsing, walk the hose back toward the reel and guide it as the automatic mechanism retracts it. The swivel mount helps the hose follow different directions around the station.

## Buying verdict

This Ayleid reel is suited to a home watering point where keeping a long hose stored on the wall matters as much as reaching different parts of the yard. Its 65-foot hybrid hose, any-length lock, controlled auto-rewind, swivel bracket, and nine-pattern nozzle bring storage and several common outdoor tasks together in one setup. Choose it for a fixed wall-mounted station with flexible reach and adjustable spray options.
