Avrilo Bathroom Rug 47" x 24

If you want a bathroom mat that feels plush under bare feet, this shaggy chenille style puts softness and moisture pickup ahead of a low-profile, easy-to-tuck-away design. Its 47" x 24" size gives you a defined area beside a tub, shower, or sink, while the red color adds a noticeable accent to the floor.

The dense pile is made to catch water as you step out of the shower. Keep in mind that its grip depends on the floor and backing being clean and dry.

On-body feel

The polyester shag has fibers about 0.78 inch high, giving the mat a thick, cushioned feel underfoot rather than the flatter touch of a thin bath mat. That can make a cold bathroom floor more comfortable when you’re standing at the sink or stepping out of the tub. The chenille pile is also designed to hold moisture, so it can help keep wet footprints from spreading across the floor.

What matters more in your bathroom: a soft landing spot or a mat that dries quickly and sits close to the floor? This one leans toward plushness and absorbency. The tradeoff is that a dense pile may take up more visual and physical space than a low-pile alternative. For the non-slip backing to work as intended, place it on a clean, dry, flat floor and keep the underside dry, it isn’t a substitute for a dry, safe bathroom surface.

Pros

• Plush polyester chenille pile offers a softer barefoot feel than a thin, flat mat.
• The dense fibers are designed to absorb moisture after a bath or shower and help keep the floor tidier.
• TPR backing is intended to reduce shifting on a suitable floor.
• The whole rug can be machine washed in cold water, then hung to dry or air-dried flat.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a soft spot beside the tub or shower and are comfortable with the care routine. It may not suit you if you need a low-profile rug, use a floor that can’t be kept clean and dry underneath, or expect to put bath mats in the dryer. The listing specifically advises against hot water and dryer use. Since the room itself isn’t described, you can’t judge coverage for a particular doorway or vanity without that measurement.

Buying verdict

This Avrilo rug makes sense if your priority is a cushioned, absorbent landing spot and the listed size suits the stretch of floor you want to cover. Picture stepping from the shower onto the thick pile, then hanging the rug to dry after washing rather than tossing it in the dryer. That care step is a real part of ownership, not a minor detail. If you’d rather have a flatter mat that takes up less space or can go through a dryer, a simpler low-pile option may fit your routine better. Choose this one for the plush feel and chenille surface, pass if easy machine drying or a precise room fit is essential.
