## Description

## Key points

This compact airplane audio transmitter lets you enjoy seatback sound on Bluetooth headphones without cables. It targets travelers who prefer wireless listening on flights while watching movies or listening to music, and it emphasizes stable audio and long runtime. The adapter pairs with two headsets simultaneously so two passengers can share the same source, and it supports popular brands like AirPods and Bose for broad compatibility. ✈️

## Benefits

Using the device removes the need for headphone cables on flights and reduces tangle and hassle when boarding or moving through the cabin. Battery life is a notable advantage, allowing extended playback during trips according to the manufacturer. The relay handles synchronization between two headsets, which keeps dialog and soundtracks aligned for shared viewing. Note that this transmitter is designed for audio playback only, and it is not suitable for live music performance or gaming where real time low latency is required. Also keep Bluetooth off on previously paired devices to avoid automatic reconnections that can interfere with pairing.

## Tech specs

- Name: **Avantree Relay**
- Function: Premium airplane Bluetooth transmitter
- Connectivity: 3.5 mm AUX input to Bluetooth output
- Audio codecs: aptX Adaptive, HD audio
- Playback time: 25 hrs
- Supported devices: AirPods, Bose and most Bluetooth headphones

## How to use it

Plug the transmitter into the aircraft seat 3.5 mm audio jack and turn it on, then pair your Bluetooth headphones following the LED indicators. If two passengers want to share audio, pair both headsets and the unit will keep audio in sync. Keep in mind that latency varies with headset codec support, aptX Adaptive offers lower delay than standard Bluetooth, so lip sync may be better with compatible models. Travel setup is straightforward and compact for carry, but remember this unit is a transmitter only and does not connect to phones or tablet devices for streaming. 🎒🎧
