## Description

For yard work that calls for trimming both low branches and limbs overhead, a saw that can switch between handheld and pole use is especially practical. This AVADA 2-in-1 combines 8-inch and 6-inch cordless saws with an adjustable telescoping pole. Its 180° adjustable cutting head helps position the chain for different branch angles. It is designed to work with compatible DeWALT 20V MAX batteries.

## Fit and sizing
Use the saw in handheld form for branches within easy reach, then attach the telescoping pole when the cut is higher up. The pole adjusts from 5.6 ft to 9.9 ft, and the listed maximum overhead reach is 15.9 ft when used straight at shoulder height by a 6-foot-tall person. That reach figure provides a useful reference for planning pruning from the ground. The cutting head adjusts from 0° to 180°, helping you line up cuts around fences, dense growth, or awkwardly angled branches.

The two saw sizes support different pruning tasks, while the tool-free switch between mini chainsaw and pole saw keeps the setup adaptable as you move around the yard. A shoulder strap is included to support handling with the pole attached. For an alternative focused only on handheld pruning or only on pole-mounted cuts, a single-purpose tool may be a more direct fit, this model brings both formats together in one system.

## Pros
The brushless motor is rated at 1200W, and the integrated lubrication system automatically oils the chain during operation. Together, these features support continued cutting and help reduce the need to stop for manual chain lubrication. Tool-free chain tensioning and installation make routine adjustments more straightforward. The included oil bottle is supplied without oil, so add chain oil before use.

Buyer feedback often highlights smooth cutting, useful reach, and easy handling, including for branches that would otherwise be difficult to reach from the ground. Customers also describe the brushless motor as powerful. Durability feedback is mixed: some buyers report a durable tool, while others say theirs broke after only a few uses. These comments offer a range of owner impressions rather than a guarantee of individual results.

## Should you buy it?
It makes sense if your pruning includes a mix of reachable branches and higher limbs, and you want to move between handheld and extended cutting without switching to a separate saw. The adjustable pole, two saw sizes, angled cutting head, and compatibility with listed DeWALT 20V MAX batteries make it a versatile setup for routine tree trimming. Choose it for the flexibility of a cordless 2-in-1 system, and match it with a compatible battery before getting started.
