## Description

Set your guitar down between practice sessions without searching for a wall or bringing a full-size stand into the room. The AUPHY SGS22 clips to the bottom of a compatible guitar body, giving you a compact place to rest it on a firm surface while keeping it close at hand.

Its lightweight design can travel in a guitar bag, and it stays attached while you play, so you can move between playing and resting without removing it.

## The essentials

The SGS22 is designed for acoustic, classical, and folk guitars with a body depth of 90mm–125mm. Its curved shape sits against the guitar body, while soft silicone lining cushions the contact area. The stand is made from PC and silicone and comes in black. At 45g each, it offers a portable alternative to carrying a traditional floor stand when you want a simple rest for practice, rehearsal, or a quick break.

For example, during a home practice session, you can place the guitar upright on a desk or suitable floor between songs, then pick it up again with the stand still in place. It can also help keep a guitar within reach in a compact room, where a larger stand would take up more floor space. Buyers have praised its appearance and functionality, with feedback also highlighting use with acoustic and classical guitars and on hardwood floors.

## Everyday use

The clip-on format is the main difference from a conventional freestanding guitar stand: it stays with the instrument and can be stored in a guitar bag, rather than needing separate space when you travel. That makes it a practical choice for players who want a compact, ready-to-use rest for compatible acoustic-family guitars. For a more traditional floor-stand setup, a larger stand is the alternative, the SGS22 focuses on portability and keeping the guitar close between playing moments.

Use it on a firm, level surface such as a tabletop or hard floor. It is intended for acoustic, classical, and folk guitars, not electric guitars, basses, or ukuleles. Avoid high-pile carpet and soft or bouncy flooring, where the stand is not intended to be used.

## How to use it

Extend the stand to roughly match the depth of the guitar body, then position its sides at a similar distance from the center. Clip it onto the bottom of the body and check that it sits snugly. Once fitted, it can remain on the guitar during play, when you take a break, set the instrument upright on a suitable tabletop or floor. This simple play-to-rest routine suits practice spaces, rehearsal rooms, and other settings where you want to pick up and set down your guitar without leaning it against nearby furniture.

## Buying verdict

Choose the AUPHY SGS22 if you want a small, portable stand that travels with a compatible acoustic, classical, or folk guitar and helps save floor space at home or during practice. Its clip-on design, silicone-lined contact, and compact carry format make it a convenient everyday rest for players who value quick access to their instrument and a tidy setup.
