## Description

The AULA S98 Pro blends a compact mechanical layout with a smart LCD screen and an intuitive multi-function knob, so control and customization sit front and center for gaming and productivity. This tri-mode keyboard supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C wired connections, offering flexible setups across PC, Mac, consoles and mobile devices while keeping latency low when it matters.

## Key features

The S98 Pro ships with a visible LCD that shows date, time, battery level, connection mode and status icons, and the knob adjusts volume, RGB mode, screen images and system settings. The hot-swappable base accepts 3-pin and 5-pin switches, and included switch and keycap pullers make modding quick and tool-free. Pre-lubed linear switches and lubed stabilizers create a smoother, creamier typing feel and a quieter mechanical tone, according to the manufacturer. Note that setting custom GIFs or calibrating the clock requires the Windows driver in wired mode.

## Why it’s worth it

If you want a customizable compact board with visual feedback, the **AULA S98 Pro** delivers a tactile upgrade plus on-board info via the LCD. The RGB system supports over 16.8 million colors and 19 preset effects, and the software enables key mapping, macro creation and music-synced lighting for immersive sessions. There is a trade-off to note, users must use Windows wired mode to set some screen images and GIFs.

## Getting the most from it

It’s a great fit if you swap switches often or enjoy tuning keyboard sound and feel, because the hot-swap design and layered sound dampening let you experiment without soldering. You’ll appreciate it if you value on-board controls, since the knob and screen reduce the need to switch windows while gaming or streaming.

## What’s included

The keyboard arrives with pre-lubed switches and stabilizers, a switch puller and a keycap puller so customization can start right away.
