## Description

This fluffy white faux sheepskin mat brings a soft, cozy layer to bedrooms, nurseries, and living areas while adding a plush touch underfoot. With an ultra-soft pile and a compact 2 x 3 ft footprint, it works well as a bedside rug, nursery throw, or accent for a reading nook.

## Key Points

The pile is extra thick and soft, creating a cushioned feel that helps warm cold floors and adds texture to minimalist interiors. The rug’s saturated white tone brightens a room without strong patterns, so it fits both modern and classic décors. It includes a non-slip suede backing that helps keep the mat in place on hardwood, tile, or low-pile carpet. For busy households, the mat is described by the manufacturer as machine washable on a gentle cycle, which simplifies maintenance and keeps the fur fluffy after washing. Note that manual measurement can produce slight size variations and that highly textured footwear may cause faster wear.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Ashler Home Deco Ashler Faux Fur Rug**
- Size: 2 x 3 ft
- Pile height: 2.8 inches
- Material: synthetic faux sheepskin
- Backing: non-slip suede
- Care: machine washable on gentle cycle, lay flat to dry

## Benefits

This small shag mat offers visual softness and acoustic dampening for small spaces. It provides a tactile contrast to hard surfaces, making chairs and benches more comfortable during longer sitting. The high pile gives a cozy cushion under bare feet, while the light color helps visually expand compact rooms. Additionally, the non-slip underside reduces the need to reposition the rug frequently, which is helpful in areas with moderate foot traffic. Keep in mind that while machine washing is possible according to the manufacturer, repeated laundering may change texture over time.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the rug beside a bed or under a rocker in a nursery for a warm landing spot. In a living room corner it can define a small seating area or soften the look of a fireplace hearth. For care, shake the rug to restore loft before vacuuming with a gentle attachment, and use a damp cloth for spot cleaning as needed. Avoid high-heat drying and abrasive brushes to maintain the pile’s plush feel. 🧸🧼.
