Artiwell 629908BN Universal Tip-Toe Tub Drain Stopper, Brushed Nickel Brass

When a bathtub stopper is worn or no longer suits the bathroom, the Artiwell 629908BN offers a way to update the drain without removing the existing drain assembly. Its brushed nickel cover gives the tub a refreshed look while covering the drain.

The touch-activated stopper opens and closes the drain, so it can hold water for a bath or let the tub drain when you’re finished. Its universal design is made to replace lift-and-turn, tip-toe, and trip-lever styles.

Installation is designed to be straightforward: the stopper drops into the drain shoe rather than screwing into it. That makes it a practical alternative to replacing a complete drain assembly when the existing drain is compatible.

Size & fit

The stopper is designed for bathtub drains measuring 1-3/8” or 1-1/2”, with two types of O-rings provided to fit those drain sizes. It is intended for lift-and-turn, tip-toe, and trip-lever drain styles, and the cover sits over the existing drain. Check the size of your tub drain and select the matching O-ring for installation.

The cover measures 2.84” wide by 1.99” high. Its brushed nickel finish can coordinate with other brushed nickel bathroom fixtures, while the brass construction provides the stopper body. For a tub with a compatible drain, this drop-in approach offers an alternative to replacing the drain hardware below the tub or using a traditional installation that calls for a drain wrench and plumber’s putty.

Strengths

A touch-activated stopper makes everyday use simple: press to close the drain and retain bathwater, then open it to let water flow out. When it is time to clear hair or debris, the removable design makes it easier to access the drain area. The cover also conceals the existing drain, so the update can change the tub’s appearance as well as its function.

Customer feedback frequently highlights the straightforward installation, fit across the listed drain sizes, and refreshed appearance. Some buyers also describe the stopper as effective at holding bathwater. These are individual customer impressions, while the product’s documented fit and design provide the practical basis for choosing it.
