## Description

When a room needs both a more considered look and better sound absorption, a decorative acoustic panel can serve a different purpose than a finish chosen for appearance alone. Art3d’s fluted walnut-style slats bring a defined linear texture to walls or ceilings while their high-density polyester fiber helps absorb sound.

The two-panel set measures 108 x 12 inches per panel and covers approximately 18 sq. ft. Use it to create a focused accent area or coordinate a larger installation across a living room, dining room, office, or other shared space.

## Key points

The narrow fluted profile and rich walnut appearance add visual texture without relying on a flat, uninterrupted wall finish. Behind the decorative surface, the panels are designed to absorb sound waves and improve room acoustics. That combination makes them useful where the look of a room matters alongside how sound carries, such as a living area with an audio setup or a meeting space that benefits from a more comfortable acoustic environment. They can also be applied to ceilings, giving the same slatted design another place to define a room.

Buyers often highlight the panels’ appearance and straightforward installation, and some say the finished wall gives a room a more modern, polished feel. Feedback on color and cutting is mixed, so plan the layout around the walnut finish and make careful cuts where panels need to meet edges or openings. If the priority is purely decorative, a finish without an acoustic function may suit that brief, these panels are for projects that pair a slatted look with sound absorption.

## Best use cases

Consider them for a living room or dining room accent wall, an office, or a home entertainment area where a hard, bare surface contributes to a lively sound. Their long format works well for a continuous slatted feature, while the two-panel pack offers a defined starting point for a smaller area or a planned multi-pack layout. The panels can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using glue or screws, making them adaptable to the surface and installation approach chosen for the project.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Plan the panel arrangement before mounting, especially around corners, outlets, or other wall features. The 108-inch length and 12-inch width make it easier to map out a repeated slat pattern and estimate where joins will fall. For a wall installation, choose glue or screws according to the mounting surface and the installation plan, the same methods are identified for ceiling applications. Keep the walnut tone and direction of the slats consistent across adjoining panels for a unified feature.

## What to clarify

**How much area does the set cover?** The two panels measure 108 x 12 inches each and are listed to cover approximately 18 sq. ft. Together, they suit a defined feature area, map the wall or ceiling before deciding how many sets the design requires.

**Can the panels be installed on a ceiling?** Yes. Wall and ceiling mounting are both described, with glue or screws as the stated fastening methods.

**Where are these panels intended to be used?** Recommended rooms include dining rooms and living rooms. The product is also described for office, educational, entertainment, commercial, and home spaces.

## Final verdict

Art3d A31gu501AW suits projects that call for more than a decorative wall covering: it combines a fluted walnut look with sound-absorbing polyester fiber in a long, 108 x 12-inch format. Choose it for a living area, dining room, office, or entertainment space where a slatted accent can contribute to the room’s appearance and acoustics.
