It combines a seat, adjustable wheel and pedal positions, and a detachable monitor mount, so the driving station can be arranged around the room and equipment you already have. The seat slides 7.1 inches and reclines from 90° to 150°. That range offers more ways to set a driving posture than a basic wheel stand, while the cockpit format takes up more space than a stand without an integrated seat. ## What to know The cockpit is listed at 67.5 pounds, with a red finish and a powder-coated steel frame. Its seat has soft foam padding and a PU leather surface. The wheel, pedals, shifter, and monitor mount are adjustable, the shifter mount can be installed on either side. Those options are useful when setting up a cockpit for a preferred driving position or sharing it with another player. The detachable monitor mount is specified for screens up to 50 inches and 77 pounds, with listed VESA patterns from 75x75 through 400x200. The steering wheel, pedals, shifter, and TV are not included, so this is a frame-and-seat purchase rather than a complete racing setup. A screen mounted on the cockpit may suit a dedicated station, a separate display setup makes more sense if you want the screen positioned independently. Buyer feedback is positive about the frame’s stability and straightforward assembly, while comfort and some mounting details receive mixed reactions. Some buyers describe the seat as comfortable, others report discomfort, and some say the included mounting brackets are short. Treat seat comfort as a personal fit question, not a guaranteed benefit. ## Tips for day-to-day use Set the seat position and recline before tightening the rest of the setup around your driving posture. The wheel, pedals, and shifter positions can then be adjusted to match. If more than one person will use the cockpit, the sliding seat and left- or right-side shifter mounting give you practical ways to adapt it between sessions. Before choosing a screen for the included mount, compare its weight and VESA pattern with the stated limits. It’s a great fit if you want a seat-based racing station with an integrated monitor mount and already own compatible controls. It may not suit you if you need the steering wheel, pedals, or display included, or if seat comfort is a deciding factor you cannot assess in advance. ## Usage tips ARES WING describes the cockpit as compatible with Logitech, Moza, Fanatec, and Thrustmaster racing accessories, and with PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC gaming. The detailed device listing names Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so check the exact console and accessory setup you intend to use rather than assuming every model is covered. The product information also describes the frame as suitable for high-torque direct-drive wheels, but the wheel itself is not part of the package. For a compact room, measure the planned space against the listed product dimensions before setting up, the supplied dimension entries differ, so use the dimensions shown for the specific listing or packaging when planning a close fit. Keep the monitor mount detachable if you prefer to use the cockpit without a screen attached. ## What to clarify Does the cockpit include racing controls or a TV? No. The steering wheel, pedals, shifter, and TV are explicitly excluded. What monitor can the mount hold? The stated maximum is 50 inches and 77 pounds, with VESA patterns including 75x75, 100x100, 200x100, 200x200, 300x200, and 400x200. Can the shifter be mounted on either side? Yes. The product details say the shifter mount supports left- or right-side installation. ## Should you buy it? Choose the GRS1002RE if your goal is a more complete cockpit layout than a wheel stand alone, with an integrated seat and adjustable monitor mount, and you already have the racing controls. Its adjustable seat and control positions support a customized setup, but buyer comments on comfort are divided. If you prioritize a known seating feel or need a ready-to-race bundle, this purchase may not answer those needs on its own. ## Images ![ARES WING GRS1002RE Racing Simulator Cockpit with TV Mount and Adjustable Seat — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/5vy2DopTZTiY2y2YsSjvvF87KpbxD1N2syL4pWWTho1NCuQ1J2WNtnU38e1cHoSPZVLICkF_Oc-e0xJnX1DhnynforXWMX9nVJSHtYGsLIFYD5XnD9RMpA.jpg) ![ARES WING GRS1002RE Racing Simulator Cockpit with TV Mount and Adjustable Seat — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/R7iJkIWMVWDlMdNsXFOyKUzCkbYz-_QZ8VnBg0_pt9tojhiXZiPE35YYvv9p_if1v8Vxy8exDoNMUvRFPBec7WUCxz8wBOKsarzIfNCIjYixGjB1_zAvcQ.jpg) ![ARES WING GRS1002RE Racing Simulator Cockpit with TV Mount and Adjustable Seat — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/xvXjAjJpf0pCPo6SVPHF7D8jq6PfSsb8iNWKtjEdoEOKzFYajla4LbkekHZndWkv8SSkhX3XtxzWHczM6lpP9mM4uFtOc0Sx9Kr_ymJ2-hxQjFSVJT9FyA.jpg) ![ARES WING GRS1002RE Racing Simulator Cockpit with TV Mount and Adjustable Seat — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/zsAJWarUy4jySF1195DtZ7xa3mZ_Ufzoq9qmVVR6HwYRQJB-9_J1ItaGhvOs1ttlJXINMJwlsGMvIoSFVA_jf7zJMPXVhYnr5ljzuZ4zOEAwk2h6UnpTrQ.jpg) ![ARES WING GRS1002RE Racing Simulator Cockpit with TV Mount and Adjustable Seat — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/RL-t-sDROIDPN1zRUlxrZt6WWM6spsqiANBRK5gVKl7ePSbA4qL1GiL3RcOpWDDCeKc5S6Z29iy64IjCOhllsqR-U8QUV0FneWUP5WZZLKUfpk_LdfG6LQ.jpg)
