## Description

Variable-speed control lets the AQUASTRONG PSP300PM adjust its flow to match your pool’s circulation needs. Set the pump from 1,200 RPM and 3,698 GPH up to 4,000 RPM and 11,359 GPH, giving you a choice of operating speeds rather than relying on a single fixed setting.

Four programmable time periods within a 24-hour cycle make it possible to schedule circulation around your routine. The pump is designed for in-ground and above-ground pool systems.

## Size & fit
The pump measures 27 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 9.75 inches high. Its discharge connections accommodate 1.5-inch or 2-inch PVC, with adapter interfaces for either size. These connection options help when matching the pump to an existing pool setup, confirm the plumbing size before installation.

A variable-speed design is useful when you want to adjust circulation rather than run a single-speed pump at one setting. The adjustable range and scheduled periods give you practical control over how the pump operates throughout the day.

## Where it shines
Use the programmable settings to align filtration and circulation with your pool schedule. For example, you can set different operating periods across the day and select a speed suited to each period. The manufacturer states that variable-speed operation can reduce energy consumption by up to 80% compared with traditional pumps, actual use depends on your settings and pool system.

The 3 HP motor and maximum flow of 11,359 GPH provide a high-flow option for pool circulation, while the lower 1,200 RPM setting gives you another speed for everyday operation. A filter basket is part of the product, bringing filtration into the pump setup.

Buyer feedback often highlights quiet operation, ease of installation, power, and the programmable speed settings. These are reported impressions, not a substitute for matching the pump’s connections and electrical requirements to your pool system.
