## Description

Pool circulation can call for different flow levels at different times. The AQUASTRONG PSP200ADT pairs two speeds with a built-in timer, so you can set operating times for each speed. It is designed for both in-ground and above-ground pool systems.

## How to use it
Connect the pump to a compatible pool setup using one of the two included adapters, sized for 1.5-inch or 2-inch internal diameters. It has a 6-foot power cord and runs on 115V. Once installed, use the timer to schedule run times for high- or low-speed operation, making it easier to match circulation to your pool’s routine. The pump is self-priming, and its dual-speed design offers a choice between higher-flow circulation and a lower-speed setting.

## Why it makes sense
A single-speed approach keeps operation to one setting, while this pump gives pool owners two flow options and a timer for scheduled operation. High speed is rated at 5,186 GPH, and low speed at 2,578 GPH. The lower setting can be scheduled for off-peak hours, while the higher setting provides a separate option when stronger circulation is needed. It’s a great fit if you want to manage pool circulation around different parts of the day rather than rely on one fixed speed.

Buyer feedback often praises the pump’s strong circulation, quiet operation, and straightforward installation. Some buyers also report durability concerns, including parts breaking after a few months and leaks near the cover connection. These are individual customer experiences, but they offer useful context when weighing feedback alongside the pump’s speed settings, timer, and pool-system compatibility.

## What matters most
The 2HP motor is rated for a maximum flow rate of 86 GPM, with a maximum lifting height of 70 feet. The pump’s stated dimensions are 8.07 inches long, 11.42 inches wide, and 23.82 inches high, useful measurements when planning where it will sit within the pool equipment area. Its adapters support connections with 1.5-inch and 2-inch internal diameters, and the 6-foot cord provides the power connection. The motor is ETL certified, and the product comes with a 2-year warranty.

## Is it worth it?
For pool owners choosing a pump for an in-ground or above-ground system, the main advantage here is having two speeds and a timer in one unit. That combination supports scheduled circulation at different flow levels, while the included adapters accommodate two common connection sizes. If those features match your pool setup and daily operating routine, the AQUASTRONG PSP200ADT offers a practical way to tailor circulation instead of depending on a single operating speed.
