## Description

For routine pool circulation, the AQUASTRONG PSP200 is designed for both above-ground and in-ground setups. Its single-speed operation keeps the control straightforward: connect it to a 115V outlet and the pump starts automatically.

Self-priming operation and two adapter sizes give you practical options when connecting the pump to a pool system. The adapters have 1.5-inch and 2-inch internal diameters.

Would a fixed-speed pump suit the way you run your pool? The PSP200 brings together a simple operating style and fittings for common connection sizes.

## Who it’s for

This pump is intended for pool owners looking for one circulation unit that can serve above-ground or in-ground pools. Its 115V power and automatic start make operation simple, while the included adapters support connections with either a 1.5-inch or 2-inch internal diameter. That flexibility can be useful when replacing a pump or setting up a circulation system with one of those connection sizes.

It’s a great fit if you want a single-speed pump rather than a model selected for adjustable-speed operation. The manufacturer lists a maximum head of 70 ft and a maximum flow of 8,917 GPH for the 2HP option. Match the pump’s connection size and operating requirements to your pool setup when planning installation.

## Why it’s worth it

The PSP200 focuses on practical setup and operation. Its self-priming design, automatic start when plugged into a 115V outlet, and two adapter sizes help make it a straightforward choice for pool circulation. The manufacturer also backs it with a 2-year warranty, and identifies the cord as UL-certified and the motor as ETL-certified.

Customer feedback commonly highlights strong circulation, quiet operation, and an installation process that buyers found easy. Some purchasers also report durability concerns and leaks around the cover connection. These experiences are worth considering alongside your installation needs, especially when choosing between a straightforward single-speed pump and a model with adjustable speed settings.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the AQUASTRONG PSP200 if a single-speed pump for an above-ground or in-ground pool matches your setup and you want the practical connection options provided by its 1.5-inch and 2-inch adapters. Its 115V operation, self-priming design, and specified flow and head figures make it a clearly described option for pool circulation. Confirm that the selected pump option and connection size align with your system before installation, then use its simple plug-in operation as part of your pool’s regular circulation setup.
