## Description

Some pool owners want scheduled circulation, others need a pump suited to an in-ground or above-ground setup. The AQUASTRONG PSP150T-LV combines a 1.5 HP motor with a built-in timer for both pool types. Need a routine that runs without resetting the schedule each day? Choose from nine timer settings, and the pump is set to start at the same time daily.

## Worth noting

The pump operates on 115V and delivers a maximum flow rate of 8,100 GPH (135 gpm), with a maximum lifting height of 65 feet. Those figures help you compare its circulation capacity with the needs and layout of your pool system. The manufacturer lists a suitable pool size of 64,802 gallons.

The timer offers nine settings covering operation from 2 to 24 hours. Once set, it repeats the chosen schedule each day, making it easier to build circulation into a regular pool-care routine. For plumbing connections, the pump comes with adapters with 1.5-inch and 2-inch internal diameters. A 6-foot UL-certified power cord and an ETL-certified motor are also listed, and the product includes a 2-year warranty.

Buyer feedback often highlights strong water flow, quiet operation, and straightforward installation. Experiences with reliability are mixed, however, and some buyers report leaks or parts breaking. These comments offer useful context alongside the pump’s listed specifications.

## Best use cases

This model is designed for pool maintenance in both in-ground and above-ground pools, including regular seasonal use. Its scheduled timer can suit owners who want the pump to follow a consistent daily operating window, while the two adapter sizes offer connection options for different pool plumbing setups. As you plan the installation, match the adapter to your system’s connection and account for the 115V power requirement.

For example, a pool owner setting a daily circulation routine can select one of the timer’s operating periods and have the pump restart at the chosen time each day. Its stated maximum flow and lifting height also give you concrete figures to compare with your system’s requirements, rather than choosing by horsepower alone.

## How to use it

Set the timer to one of its nine operating periods, from 2 to 24 hours, and the pump will automatically start at the same time each day. Connect the plumbing using the adapter size that matches your setup, then use the 6-foot power cord with a compatible 115V supply. The pump is intended for both in-ground and above-ground pool systems, check that the connection and electrical setup suit your installation before operation.

## Questions before you buy

**Can this pump be used with an in-ground pool?** Yes. It is designed for both in-ground and above-ground pool systems.

**How does the timer work?** Select one of nine settings covering 2 to 24 hours. The pump is set to start at the same time each day.

**What connection sizes are supported by the included adapters?** The two adapters have internal diameters of 1.5 inches and 2 inches. Choose the one that matches your pool plumbing.

## Should you buy it?

The AQUASTRONG PSP150T-LV is a practical match for pool owners who want a 1.5 HP pump for an in-ground or above-ground system and value repeatable daily scheduling. Its timer, stated flow and lifting capacity, and two adapter sizes make it easier to assess how it fits into a specific pool setup.
