## Description

## Highlights

The orange-and-yellow plaid pattern gives a dining table an autumn harvest look without requiring a full seasonal table setting. Made from 100% polyester, this runner is described as a layer that helps protect the surface from scratches, spills, and hot pans, while its checkered design brings color to family dinners and fall gatherings.

The product name identifies the 72-inch length. The listing also describes other size options, so check that the selected length suits your table before ordering. It’s a practical way to change the feel of a dining area, coffee table, or TV cabinet without replacing the furniture or adding a more elaborate centerpiece.

## Fit and sizing

The available dimensions listed are 13 x 36, 13 x 72, 13 x 90, and 13 x 108 inches. The product description connects its size selection with tables seating 4–6, 6–8, and 8–12 people, but does not specify which dimension corresponds to each seating range. If you’re choosing the 72-inch version, measure the tabletop and consider how much runner you want to extend past each end, the right length depends on the table, not just the number of seats.

Keep in mind that no heat rating is provided. Although the listing says the fabric helps guard against hot pans, use a trivet for hot cookware rather than relying on the runner as a heat-resistant mat. That distinction matters if table protection is your main reason for buying.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Use it as a seasonal accent for a Thanksgiving meal, an autumn get-together, or an everyday dining setup that could use a warmer color. It’s also listed for coffee tables, TV cabinets, and fireplaces, so it can work beyond the dining room. For example, place it down the center of a dining table before setting out serving dishes, the plaid adds a fall cue while keeping the arrangement simple.

The runner is machine washable, which is useful after a family dinner or party. The description says it retains its look and color after washing, but it doesn’t give care instructions such as water temperature or drying method. Follow any instructions on the item’s label, especially if you want to preserve the fabric’s appearance over repeated washes.

## Questions before you buy

**What is it made of?** It is listed as 100% polyester.

**Can it be machine washed?** Yes. The product description says it is machine washable, though it does not specify a wash cycle or drying method.

**Is it limited to Thanksgiving dinners?** No. It is presented for family meals, gatherings, and everyday decor, as well as autumn and other festive occasions. Its orange-and-yellow plaid look is distinctly seasonal, though, so it may not suit a minimalist or neutral year-round table.

## Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you want a washable, patterned runner to give a dining table or another surface a noticeable fall update, and the listed dimensions fit your setup. Compared with a plain, neutral runner, this one makes a stronger seasonal statement, that’s useful for harvest gatherings but less flexible if you want one understated piece to leave out all year. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed heat-resistant performance, exact seating-to-size guidance, or a design that blends quietly with any decor.
