APROMOOM 77B7082R Tub and Shower Faucet Set, 8-Inch Rain Head, Matte Black

For a tub-and-shower update, this APROMOOM set brings the shower head, valve, and tub spout together in one coordinated trim kit. That gives you matching matte black fixtures for a unified look across the bathing area.

The 8-inch square rain shower head gives the shower a broader rainfall-style profile, while the single-handle control lets you adjust hot and cold water with one lever. A pressure-balance valve is part of the set.

The package also includes a diverter tub spout, so you can switch between filling the tub and using the shower. Its wall-mount design suits a combined tub-and-shower layout.

Why it makes sense

Choosing the head, control trim, valve, and tub spout as one set is a straightforward alternative to sourcing each piece separately and trying to coordinate their finishes. The matte black finish carries across the included components, helping the fixtures read as one consistent update rather than a collection of mismatched parts.

The square 8-inch head is a practical choice for shoppers who want a rainfall-style shower as part of a tub-and-shower installation. The set is rated at 1.75 GPM, and the pressure-balance valve is designed to help limit sudden temperature changes when water pressure shifts elsewhere in the home. The single handle keeps everyday temperature adjustment simple.

What matters most

This is a complete tub-and-shower trim set with a shower head, shower trim kit, shower valve, and tub spout. The tub spout includes a diverter for directing water to the shower. For installation planning, the listed connections are 1/2-inch NPT, a standard connection type used in many U.S. homes. The set is intended for wall mounting.

In a typical bathroom update, the coordinated components make it easier to replace the visible tub-and-shower fixtures together. The square head provides the rainfall-style look, while the tub spout keeps the bathtub usable as part of the same setup. Buyers often praise the matte black appearance and describe installation as easy, feedback on leaks and value is mixed, so careful fitting of the plumbing connections remains important.

Getting the most from it

Plan the installation around the existing tub-and-shower plumbing and the listed 1/2-inch NPT connections. The valve, shower head, and diverter tub spout work together as one setup, so the diverter can direct water to the shower when needed and return the spout to tub filling. Following the appropriate plumbing installation steps helps the components seat correctly and supports a tidy finish at the wall.

When it makes sense

You’ll appreciate it if you’re replacing a tub-and-shower fixture set and want a coordinated matte black finish, a square rainfall-style head, and a single-handle control in one package. It also suits a remodel where selecting a compatible-looking head, valve trim, and tub spout separately would add extra decisions. For a household that uses both the bathtub and shower, the included diverter spout keeps both functions in the same fixture arrangement.
