AppleRound Hippity Hoppity Hopball, 18-Inch Kids’ Bouncy Ball with Handle and Pump

An 18-inch (45 cm) hop ball sized for children ages 3–7, with a purple cloud-inspired look. The sit-on design and grab handle make bouncing the focus of play. Use it indoors or outdoors for a one-child activity that adds movement to playtime. A two-way pump is included for inflation.

Who it’s for

This hop ball is designed for children ages 3–7 who enjoy active, hands-on play. The handle gives a child a place to hold while seated and bouncing, and the ball’s size is suited to the listed age range. It can be used indoors or outdoors, so families can choose a suitable play space for the day. Adult supervision is required at all times, and the maximum supported weight is 160 pounds or 70 kg.

If you’re choosing between a stationary toy and an activity that encourages movement, the sit-on format makes bouncing part of the play. It’s also distinct from a ball meant for rolling or throwing: the child sits on this one and holds the grip handle while hopping. The listed educational objectives include fun exercise and hand-eye coordination.

Why it makes sense

The one-child format keeps the activity simple: inflate the ball, place it in a suitable play area, and let a child use the handle for a secure place to grip while bouncing. The included pump makes setup straightforward, and the ball can be inflated to its listed 18-inch size. To inflate it, remove the white stopper, insert the pump tip into the opening, and pump the ball, replace the stopper promptly when it reaches the desired size.

The purple cloud design gives the ball a playful look, while its indoor and outdoor use lets families choose between an indoor play area and outdoor space. For a rainy-day movement break, it offers a sit-and-bounce activity, outdoors, it can be used as a simple way to add active play to time outside. Keep adult supervision in place during use.

Buyers often describe the ball as entertaining and appreciate its bounce and ease of inflation. Feedback on durability and how well it retains air is mixed, so the clearest reasons to choose it are the age-specific size, handle, included pump, and active play format.

Is it worth it?

For families looking for a dedicated bouncing toy for a child ages 3–7, this AppleRound hop ball brings together a child-sized 18-inch format, a grip handle, and a pump in one set. Its indoor/outdoor use makes it practical for different play spaces, while the adult-supervision requirement helps keep use appropriately guided. Choose it for active sit-on play rather than a toy designed mainly for throwing, rolling, or stationary activities.
