## Description

This large synthetic leather desk protector creates a smooth, protected work surface that holds a laptop, keyboard and mouse while guarding against spills, scratches and heat. Its 48 x 17 inch size combines a professional look with a roomy area for writing and navigating, and the waterproof finish makes routine cleaning quick and practical.

## Key Points

The mat is made from durable synthetic leather that resists stains and everyday wear while adding a modern touch to home or office setups. The generous dimensions allow placement of a laptop and input devices together, giving a continuous surface for typing, writing and using a mouse. A textured microsuede backing increases grip on the desk and helps reduce slippage during use. According to the manufacturer, the friction resistance is notably higher than that of double-sided leather, which supports stable positioning of devices. Consider that the synthetic surface offers an easy-to-clean alternative to fabric pads, though water should be wiped up promptly to avoid pooling.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Aothia - Protector de escritorio de cuero sintético grande**
- Size: 48 x 17 inches (approximately 122 x 43 cm)
- Material: synthetic leather surface with microsuede non-slip backing
- Color: aquamarine
- Features: waterproof surface, easy to clean, large mouse pad area

## Usage Recommendations

Place the protector centered on a flat desk surface to cover high-use areas and protect from spills and scratches. For cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry with a soft towel. If you plan to use a precision gaming mouse or an optical sensor, test surface performance first since some mice respond differently on leather-like textures. Keep prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to a minimum to preserve color and finish.

## Positive Aspects

The aquamarine finish brings a subtle color accent without overpowering other desk elements, combining function and style. The continuous flat surface makes writing and sketching more comfortable than working on a textured desk top. For users who want a tidy, cohesive workspace that is simple to maintain, this protector offers practical protection and a polished appearance.
