## Description

This large synthetic leather desk protector creates a clean, modern surface for writing, typing and mouse use while shielding your desktop from spills and scratches. If you need a spacious pad for a laptop, keyboard and mouse, this 23.6 x 13.7 inch desk mat offers a smooth writing area and durable PU leather finish for everyday office or home use.

## Key Points

The pad's PU leather face resists stains and can be wiped clean, making maintenance straightforward after coffee spills or ink marks. Its smooth top improves mouse tracking and provides a pleasant feel when writing or resting your arms. For users who prefer a coordinated desk look, the lavender smoke color adds a subtle, professional tone to workspaces. 🖊️

This desk protector can handle common desk hazards such as heat marks from mugs and light scuffs from keyboards. The slim profile keeps the surface flat while still providing a cushioned layer that reduces noise and protects wooden or laminated desktops. Consider that the texture is smooth for most mice, but some high-DPI gaming sensors may prefer a dedicated cloth pad for maximal control.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Aothia - Large Synthetic PU Leather Desk Protector (Lavender Smoke)**
- Material: PU leather top with suede-style backing
- Size: 23.6 x 13.7 inches
- Color: Lavender smoke
- Backing: Non-slip suede design, increased friction resistance
- Care: Water-resistant surface, wipes clean with a damp cloth
- Warranty: One year manufacturer warranty available

## Usage Recommendations

Place the pad centrally on your desk to fit a laptop and a full-size keyboard while leaving room for a mouse on the right or left. For writing, the smooth surface gives stable support and reduces pen noise, while for computer use it doubles as a broad mouse area so you can move freely. If you often work with liquids, the water-resistant finish simplifies cleanup and prevents staining. 💧

Note a couple of nuances for clarity. The suede-style underside increases grip compared to double-sided leather and the manufacturer notes about a 70% increase in friction resistance versus that material. Also, the PU leather top is durable and easy to clean but may show wear over many years of heavy abrasion, according to typical material limits.
