## Description

This synthetic leather desk protector adds a soft, smooth surface for writing, typing and using a laptop while helping guard your desk against scratches, spills and heat. Its 36 x 17 inch size covers room for a laptop, keyboard and mouse, and the pink fantasy finish brings a subtle, modern accent to home office setups.

## Key Points

The pad is made from PU leather that resists liquids and wipes clean with a damp cloth, making maintenance quick after accidental spills. The underside uses a suede-like material to increase friction with the tabletop, which the manufacturer states improves non-slip performance compared to standard double-sided leather designs. The dimensions offer a broad work area for multitasking and organizing peripherals, and the low-profile construction keeps the desk-feel natural for writing.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name:** **Aothia Desk Protector 36 x 17 inches**
- Material: PU leather surface, suede-like backing
- Size: 36 x 17 inches
- Color: pink fantasy
- Finish: water-resistant, smooth top surface

## Usage Recommendations

Place the pad centered on a desk to protect the working area from ink, coffee or minor heat marks when using a laptop or writing. For mouse use, the smooth top provides consistent tracking for optical and laser sensors, while the non-slip backing helps prevent shifting during everyday tasks. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and let air dry; avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain the surface texture.

## Positive Aspects

The combination of a waterproof PU surface and increased backing friction makes this pad practical for both office and home environments. The wide footprint helps keep cables and devices organized on a single mat, reducing clutter and protecting the desk finish. Consider that color tone may vary slightly from photos due to lighting and screen differences, and according to the manufacturer the product includes a one year warranty covering defects.
