## Description

The foldable fabric design gives dogs more flexibility than a rigid cone, while helping limit access to wounds during recovery. The blue XL version has an adjustable hook-and-loop closure and a drawstring for fine-tuning the neck fit.

It is intended for dogs that need help avoiding licking or scratching after surgery or an injury. Its soft construction may also be worth considering if you want an alternative to a hard plastic collar.

Fit is the key buying decision. The listed neck size is 14.1 inches, and the manufacturer recommends measuring both neck circumference and the distance from the neck to the nose before choosing a size.

## Technical overview
- Type: Adjustable dog recovery cone
- Size: XL, listed neck size of 14.1 inches
- Color: Blue
- Material: Fabric with 100% polyester lining and expandable polyethylene
- Closure: Hook and loop, with an adjustable drawstring
- Water resistance: Not water resistant
- Intended use: Post-surgery recovery and wound protection

The flexible, foldable format is designed to allow a dog to eat and drink with the collar folded down, and the manufacturer says it can be worn while resting. Unlike a rigid plastic cone, fabric construction offers a softer barrier around the neck. It still needs to extend far enough to keep the dog from reaching the affected area, so the listed XL label alone does not establish a suitable fit for every dog.

## Requirements
Measure your dog’s neck circumference and neck-to-nose length, then use the product’s size guide rather than choosing by weight alone. The drawstring allows some adjustment around the neck, but it does not replace selecting a cone with suitable depth. The product information lists a 14.1-inch neck size, it does not provide a cone-depth measurement here, so use the full size guide when deciding whether this version will block access to your dog’s wound.

## How to use it
Secure the collar with the hook-and-loop closure and adjust the drawstring for a snug fit around the neck. Check that the cone extends far enough to prevent your dog from licking or scratching the area being protected, without treating the adjustable closure as a substitute for checking the fit. For meals or water breaks, the cone can be folded down according to the product description. Reposition it for wound protection afterward, and follow any care instructions from your veterinarian about when it should be worn.

## Is it worth it?
Buyer feedback commonly highlights comfort, softness, and ease of putting the cone on or taking it off. Some buyers say their dogs could rest in it, while others report that sizing did not work for their pet. Those differing fit experiences make measuring especially important, the feedback is not a guarantee that every dog will tolerate the cone or be unable to reach a particular wound.

A solid pick if you want a soft, adjustable alternative to a rigid recovery cone for a dog whose measurements match the XL size guide. It’s not for you if you need a water-resistant collar, since this one is specifically listed as not water resistant. Choose based on measured fit and the wound’s location, rather than the XL label alone.
