## Description

Four easy-to-climb steps give small dogs and cats a way to reach beds and sofas without needing to jump straight up. At 18.5 inches high, these stairs are designed for elevated surfaces up to 20 inches, making them a practical access point for puppies, older pets, and short-legged dogs.

The polyester cover and sponge filling create a soft stepping surface, while rubber dots on the bottom help keep the stairs in place. What makes a set of steps useful for everyday access? It gives a pet separate footholds on the way up and down, rather than one continuous slope.

## Strengths

The four-step layout is intended for pets that need help reaching furniture, including small dogs and cats with limited mobility. Place the stairs beside a bed or sofa to give your pet a familiar route to a favorite resting spot. The non-slip rubber-dot base adds friction against the floor, and the soft cover provides a comfortable surface for paws.

Buyers often highlight the stairs’ softness and usefulness for getting onto sofas. Feedback on size, stability, and height is mixed: some find the fit and height suitable for their furniture, while others would prefer a different size or more height. Matching the stair height to the furniture and the space available beside it helps you judge the fit for your setup.

## The essentials

- Type: Four-step pet stairs
- Dimensions: 23.8 inches deep x 15.2 inches wide x 18.5 inches high
- Materials: Polyester cover with sponge filling
- Suitable pets: Cats and small or medium dogs
- Base: Rubber-dot anti-slip surface
- Setup: No assembly required
- Included: Four-step dog stairs

Compared with a single sloped ramp, this design offers distinct steps for pets to climb. It is suited to homes where a compact set of footholds beside a sofa or bed works better than a continuous incline. The product listing positions this 18.5-inch version for beds and sofas up to 20 inches high.

## Cleaning & care

The cover has a zipper and can be removed for hand washing or machine washing. Wash the cover only, the sponge core should not be machine washed or machine dried. The stairs arrive vacuum-compressed and are described as regaining their shape within 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature. Allow time for them to expand before placing them beside furniture for regular use.

## Before you decide

**How tall are these stairs?** They measure 18.5 inches high and are intended for sofas and beds up to 20 inches high. The full dimensions are 23.8 inches deep by 15.2 inches wide by 18.5 inches high.

**Which pets are they designed for?** The stairs are intended for cats and small or medium dogs, with puppies, older pets, and short-legged dogs highlighted as users that may benefit from easier access to elevated surfaces.

**Do the stairs need assembly?** No assembly is required. Because they are vacuum-compressed for shipping, allow 24 to 48 hours for them to regain their shape, the timing depends on temperature.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if your small dog or cat needs a step-by-step way onto a bed or sofa and the 18.5-inch height suits that furniture. The soft polyester cover, removable washable top, and anti-slip base make the stairs practical for a regular spot in your pet’s daily routine.
