## Description

With a 5-inch polishing disc, the AOBEN AT3501C-02 is sized for car detailing, waxing, and polishing. Its dual-action random orbit and 16mm orbit give you a defined setup for working across vehicle surfaces.

Six speed settings range from 1,000 to 5,500 rpm, so you can adjust the tool to the task. Use lower speeds for waxing and buffing, and medium settings for polishing and cleaning.

The kit includes six foam pads and a synthetic wool polishing pad, giving you different accessories for the detailing process. A detachable side handle can be attached on either side to suit your preferred grip.

## Benefits

The adjustable speed makes this polisher adaptable to several stages of car care, rather than tying you to one fixed pace. For example, a lower setting is suited to applying wax, while a medium setting is intended for polishing and cleaning. Higher settings are described for addressing paint defects and oxidation, allowing you to select a working speed for the task at hand.

The 5-inch disc and dual-action motion support polishing and waxing across vehicle surfaces. The included foam pads offer options for the job, while the synthetic wool pad is intended for removing excess wax. Together, these accessories let you move between parts of a detailing routine without relying on a single pad type.

## What to know

The polisher is powered by AC and rated at 120 volts, 60 Hz, with a maximum power of 1,600 watts. Its six speed settings run from 1,000 to 5,500 rpm. The body uses metal and plastic, and the finish is ruby red.

The kit lists the AOBEN dual-action polisher, a 5-inch polishing disc, six 5-inch foam pads, one synthetic wool polishing pad, a wrench, and a user manual. The handle is detachable and can be fixed on either side. Customers have praised its functionality and described it as an inexpensive tool, those are buyer impressions, not a substitute for choosing the right speed and pad for each task.

Compared with a single-speed buffer, variable speed control gives you more choice over the working pace, while the included pad selection supports different polishing steps. The listed uses also extend beyond cars to boats, furniture, pianos, flooring, and metal objects.

## Usage tips

Choose a speed that matches the job: the product guidance assigns low speed to waxing and buffing, medium speed to polishing and cleaning, and high speed to removing paint defects and oxidation. Pair the task with an appropriate foam or wool pad, and use the side handle in whichever position gives you a comfortable hold. For a practical detailing session, you can apply wax at a lower setting, then change the speed and pad for a separate polishing step.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a corded, variable-speed polisher for car waxing and detailing, with several pad types included for different stages of the work. The dual-action format, selectable speed, and reversible side-handle position give you useful control over how you approach polishing. Its stated applications also make it relevant for projects involving boats, furniture, pianos, flooring, or metal objects, making it a versatile fit for hands-on care and polishing tasks.
